It is still rankable?

5,44445,0,"soft-hitclap.wav"

I can't understand the means of "5" and "0" :?

Also , how to control its volume ?
Gabi
Yes it should be rankable.

I'm not 100% sure how to explain this, but this is how i do my SB hitsounds

Sample,168305,3,"soft-hitfinish.wav",85
Sample,95964,3,"soft-hitwhistle.wav",100
Sample,97480,3,"normalhit.wav",90

Sample, Timing, Layer, Hitsoundfile, Hitsound volume.

using 3 or 0, i think it works the same.

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1869 here's a topic that should explain a little more how SB works.

EDIT:

Storyboarding by Scripting

In the .osu file under [Events] or in the .osb file:
Note: underscores can be replaced with spaces.

Sound effects

Sample,time,layer,"filepath",volume

time: the time in milliseconds to start playing the sound effect

layer:
Background = 0
Fail = 1
Pass = 2
Foreground = 3

filepath: relative path of the sound file (should be in the same directory as the .osu file)
Note: file path must be in double quotes

volume: volume of the sound file. (1-100) Can be left off for 100.

Ninjaed by Gabi ~.~ Btw this should be in SB subforum. Im not really sure what "5" mean there. As I seen so far is "sample" at the front of the codes

I take the code from kiou2's normal in this map

I know it should be Storyboarding , but it looks like a half-abandoned forum now

Sorry for this
awp
The 5 means it's a sound

also I'm not sure if SBing hitsounds is rankable (it might depend on context, but it shouldn't be used during gameplay)

Get it :3

thx for the information

Generally I'd avoid doing this where possible, and instead structuring your hit objects to allow for the patterns you want. Placing storyboarded hitsounds like this can cause confusion.
