Well... I'm just an undergraduate student major in Computer Science.
Maybe I have consider things to be too simple.
Frankly speaking, I won't make any profit of this project even if I publish it on AppStore in the future.
I love this game so that I want to bring it to iOS that I am using everyday.
Since this is just a hobby project, I should have kept it private instead of publishing it on GitHub, then on this forum.
I'm sorry that what I did make some of you guys uncomfortable.
So I have removed everything from GitHub.
As for osu!lazer, I'm looking forward to its coming out. Since I'm not familiar with C#, I will still work on my project just for fun:)

don't jinx it.

Good luck! Although I'm with the android users, this is quite interesting.

If you're interested, ppy is also looking for people to help the official osu framework support iOS and Android.

Here is the issue on the github site. https://github.com/ppy/osu-framework/issues/682

I'm sorry that I am not familiar with both C# and Xamarin. So I'd like to implement the game in my own way:)
SpriteKit is native on iOS, thus it has less overhead than other game engines. So I believe that it is the best way to develop a game only for iOS:)
Most importantly, it is just a hobby project. So I want to make implementation as easy as possible:)

If you're actually planning on releasing this, please remove osu! from the title (ie. call it something else).

Also there's a fully working iOS release already, but requires jailbreak: https://github.com/ppy/osu-iPhone

Also xamarin actually runs equal to native (faster in my experience when compared to obj-c due to smaller call stack overheads).

Also opsu is GPL, so if you used any code from that project you will not be able to publish it to the app store.

I'd highly recommend you give thought to helping us with lazer on iOS, because it's the future of osu! on all platforms.
