I did some small experiment regarding menu lighting ( when not in kiai time). I found that it light every time was on heavy beat. For me, this is quite simple way to know if there was metronome changes. When the metronome didn't fix I found it does not light on the heavy beat correctly.
Example:
first offset is 82, second offset to reset the metronome is 27304. If I didn't apply the 27304, the menu light very slow. The reverse, if I apply the second metronome the menu light very active and sync very well with the heavy beat.
Question:
1. Does this method relevant to check metronome changes?
2. Does this method relevant to know the time signature too? As I seen the wrong time signature will give the wrong heavy beat (downbeat).
3. Does this method really good to detect syncopation in the song?
