People add their name on the scorebar-bg.png file

You'll need an image editing program like Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET... don't use MSPaint, as it can't save Transparency
Go to your osu! files, Skins/YOUR_SKIN_NAME_HERE and open "scorebar-bg.png" using the image editor. And then it's as simple as using the Text tool and overwriting the image you opened. Go check some tutorials on how to make your text pretty.
