TAIKO BATTLE MAPPING LEAGUE!!


-Welcome to the Taiko Battle Mapping League! Otherwise known as TBML. The TBML is an idea sprung from the minds of Myself and Roley, where 2 taiko mappers can get together and pit their maps against each other!

~ HOW THE TBML WORKS ~

-As stated in the introduction, the TBML is where 2 taiko mappers face off with their mapping skills.
-How this will work is 2 mappers will get together and pick a song they want to battle with, or pick from a list the staff of the TBML have decided are suitable.
-One of the two mappers will post in the thread who they will be facing, and the song they wish to map. (please use the Text format we have created for arranging a battle)
-Once this is completed a staff member of the TBML will create a osz file for the song with accurate timing, and will PM it to both mappers.
-Both mappers will proceed to map the WHOLE SONG, they will not create song form of collab. Both mappers have to map the complete song!
-Once this is completed, both mappers will PM their .osu files to a TBML staff member, and this staff member will create and .osz with both of their FULL LENGTH maps.
-The .osz will be posted on the first page of this thread under "Pending battles"

"SO HOW IS THE WINNER DECIDED!?!?"

-That's where the osu! community comes in!
-Once a map is posted in the Pending Battles section, the community can vote for who's map they liked better! Then at the end of a week to two week period the votes will be tallied and the winner decided.
( THERE WILL BE NO POLL IN THE THREAD FOR VOTES! LOOK IN THE "HOW TO VOTE" SECTION TO LEARN HOW TO VOTE CORRECTLY )

"WELL WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT!?!?"

-This is where the cool part happens.
-Once the winner is decided, the TBML staff will take both the mapper's maps and combine them together in a collab difficulty as if the two are ACTUALLY BATTLEING! And at the end of the map the winner will be shown! ( YOU MUST PLAY THE MAP TO KNOW WHO WON! )
-If you are confused about how this works you can contact a TBML staff member and they can explain further, we also have a Battle map in the works for better demonstration! ( Will be posted in the next day or two )

~ HOW TO VOTE ~

-Voteing is very simple, all you need to do is PM your vote to a TBML staff member! ( Make sure you tell them what battle it is for)
-The reason we are doing it this way is because we don't want the votes publicy seen, because then people will know who won the battle!
-That takes the purpose of making a very cool Battle Collab Map!

~ RULES ~

-ALL MAPS MUST FOLLOW THESE GENERAL GUIDELINES OF MAPPING
-No one can map for you!
-There will be no "Teams" Like a 2 vs 2 situation.

- If these rules are broken your map will be modded to fit the rules by a TBML staff member!
