Pretty triggered right now, anyone else got this issue?

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

osu! version: 20170222.3 (latest)

Make sure osu! Isn't inside a Temp folder, else it would be deleted everytime you restart your computer
Make sure your osu!.db, osu!.<username>.db, score.db, collection.db didn't disappear or was removed by an antivirus
Make sure osu! Didn't reinstall itself, which should be a little weird
Try looking at these folders
Current default filepath:
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\osu!

"C:" is your harddisk with osu! installed.

Old installer filepath:
C:\Program Files\osu!
C:\Program Files(x86)\osu! (for 7 64-bit or 8)

Everything checks out, its fine, restarted my pc a few times as well, and everything is still the same, i assume theres nothing i can do about it anymore, i have all my beatmaps and my settings are... kinda the same as they were before, it just sucks that i lost all my scores >.<

This happened to me today too really odd and had to readjust my settings and haven't touched anything in the osu files either

do you by any chance not have a red screen near death anymore too? even on osu's default skin there is no red screen when health is low. off topic a bit but thought i'd ask

I just checked and i don't seem to have a red screen until i actually fail

The red screen effect when close to dyeing can be disabled in the game options by unticking "Special effects" in Visual Details.

I guess this still happens, tho i get this like every week, for some reason

Just happened to me as well. I find it fascinating how it's already at least an 8-year old problem now and nothing is done about it.

UPD: it might be a windows file writeback caching issue. I noticed it happen to me after a PC reset, with osu having been closed some good 5+ minutes beforehand
