Search didn't show any results, but tbh I didn't really know what exactly to search for xD
Right now, I don't think anybody really uses #announce - at least I always close it and never bother looking at it.
I would, however, like an IRC channel or something like that where you get live updates on your friend's accomplishments - when they unlock achievements, score #1 on a map, when their maps get ranked and similar stuff.
It might make sense to limit it to mutual friends, but I don't really care about that.
