Offset might be a little off, but BPM is spot on. For this reason, I hope that I really nailed the gap!

Difficulty: Moderate-Hard
Breaks: 2
Length: 2:42

The stage is easily passable with a good mouse and I feel overall it's solid enough to be a solid beatmap. If there are any issues with notes off beat, don't hesitate to let me know, I'm open to revision.

Hi there! Nice beatmap! But it seems the BPM is a bit off, you can check this by hearing the metronome at the 2:20 part. It's the same as the first one in the song but it doesn't synch very well.

I can see from some sliders that you changed BPM after you placed them. If you look closely at some of them (especially the one at 1:41:91) you will see a little circle at the end of it, that will make you miss the slider. To fix it, simply move the end of the slider a bit or use the recalculate sliders length option.

I also want to know what beat snap divisor you used, you shouldn't use more than 1/4. If you must use 1/8 to get some notes right means you made something wrong with the timing.

That's all!

Uh oh. I had always thought 1/8 snap was the default and left it at that. My mistake. On the subject of changing BPM, are there any ways to do this other than the add timing section command? I hadn't changed the BPM knowingly for the sliders, my only guess is maybe it really does vary as this is an older song, or I didn't place them accurately enough.

Thanks for pointing out the issue with beat snapping though. It's helped me to improve a lot of things!

Edit: I'm really starting to think that this song has its BPM vary, but it could just be something I had accidentally done. Can anybody confirm this?

In almost every pre-90's song I've seen, the BPM varies a lot. The tempo speed up, or slows down, and it makes it very difficult to map to. That's probably because most recording artists didn't have a visual guide to help them keep a steady tempo... but anyways, yeah, songs like this are tough to get a correct tempo. Good luck.
