While I was messing around with skinning, trying to fill up the entire area of the ranking screen, I noticed between the song/play data and ranking panel there was a gap. Tried to fill it up by skinning ranking-title, but it spawned another problem - that thing is offset 32 pixels to the right, assuming my osu! resolution is 1366x768. Bummer :/
Of course, it's not that much noticeable on dark backgrounds, but in this case white backgrounds are going to somehow demolish the looks of it.
For now, my workaround is to make a fade-out on the right, but come to look to it, it's as pretty as I wanted it to be.
IF you want to try it for yourself, make a pure white 1334x104 image, call it ranking-title.png - for HD it's 2668x204
