You gotta work for my star. Once at least insane is fully completed I can star it. And stars don't really mean attention, unless you get into the (20 maps higher) range.
[general]
upload the background (do a full submit). I don't like looking at a black screen.
BPM: 164.000 (It might be a little fast, which I find strange. We'll know when you map the rest of the song)
Offset: 910 (this will change later, but you need to make sure the white ticks are the main beats, not the blue ticks.)
mp3 length: it's quite long. Here's the layout of the song:
15547 - verse 1
50669 - refrain
79937 - interlude
91644 - verse 2
126766 - refrain 2
156034 - interlude
161888 - bridge/verse 3
188230 - pre-chorus
211644 - refrain 3
249693 - end of song
The easiest way to cut the song is just to end after verse 2's refrain, which would be ~2 minutes, but you can also just cut out certain pieces of the music. So you could attach refrain 3 right after verse 2 and have the song end like normal rather than fade out. You can cut out refrain, interlude, and verse 2 to make the song end at around 3:30 (though that's still a pretty long song). Or you can make a marathon, but that's stupid.
[insane]
00:03:199 (1) - terrible place for a new combo. Once you get the offset correct, you'll notice it falls on a blue tick. New combos should usually be on white ticks, preferably the long white tick (there are many exceptions, though).
00:04:571 (4,5,6,7,8) - this is a good place for jumps. Check to see you spacing in the top right corner after you highlight something. It will tell you how far away the selected notes are from the previous and next note.
00:16:095 (1) - I don't hear anything in the music here that suggests to use 1/4 notes here.
00:17:010 (1,1,1) - new combo spam isn't really a good thing.
00:38:961 (1,1) - don't stack sliders like this or hide them under other things. Some people think that if sliders even
touch it's an error. Especially don't stack something on top of the repeat icon in a repeating slider.
Insane seems a bit slow right now. You could probably get away with up to 2.3 slider speed.
If you keep the slider speed as it is, ar8 is fine. If you speed it up, you may want to switch to ar9. Personally I prefer ar8 over ar9 any day.
