My first ever Beatmap; which took me.. about 9 hours to complete, with testing and trying to make sure the beat works.

It's a bit spinner heavy, and there are two modes, Easy and Normal; and Normal is pretty easy to clear, I think.

I'm also working on a Hard mode; which is going to rely a lot LOT less on the Spinners- but that will take awhile.

Any comments would be appreciated; I know it's not great, and since it's my first beatmap, I'm hoping it's at least decent.

And thanks to Kolma, without him supporting me I would have been to chicken to post this >>.

Hi there! Don't hesitate on posting your beatmap, you can get more help from more people this way.

About your beatmap. You should try to use a BPM of 143.79 and an Offset of 6,800. You should resnap all your notes and sliders and make sure everything is on it's correct place. You also need to check the part at 2:05:00 because the timing changes on that part.

I'm can't wait for next version, keep it up!

Thanks! I took your advice and changed the BPM and Offset, and it sounds (to me) much better now.

And also; I re-worked it a little bit, Easy mode is now.. really, really easy; for complete newcomers (if this somehow gets Accepted for Online Ranking play) and Normal mode is basically the same as it was before with a few more sliders and less Spinners.

Hard is more or less a tweaked version of Normal; a LOT less Spinners however, some new sliders, smaller notes that appear at a faster rate; and at the end.. just get ready for a clickfest. :twisted: (And it's possible, I cleared it twice in the normal Play Mode)

I would recommend you to resnap all the notes to 1/4 or 1/2 and see if they are in the correct position. Because right now they are mistimed.

I resnapped them on 1/4; and I reduced the filesize to 17 MB. I'm pretty sure anyone who downloads it will be happier with the near 10 MB drop.

I hope it's getting near perfect for a Rank release;

I'll find out soon enough, I guess.

You sure you resnapped them? Look at the note at "0:08:15" it's in the middle of the 1/4 divisor.

Right now, I would recommend to try to make the whole song in 1/2 divisor (I mean, resnaping and re-placing all the notes). I think you can have better timing and less errors with it. But you will need to spend some time with it.

You will also need to check the spacing between the notes, because it is a bit unconsistent.

Well, again, I did as you said.

First I checked them in 1/4, and then did them in 1/2; but some parts didnt fit with the beat in 1/2 so I had to leave them the way they were.

Sorry but this still seems very off.

1. Your notes are snapped to the *wrong* 1/2 divisors in many cases.
2. Wouldn't the normal soundset work much better? It does for me, at least.
3. There is a tempo change during the long break you. This screws the timing up for the next chorus area (2:46:00 onwards).
4. Video isn't synced. Changing the offset for the video to 1280 fixes this.

I have attached a file with the extra timing point added for the second chorus and the video sync fix. I haven't resnapped or done anything else. While it looks like you put quite a bit of effort into this one, I don't feel it is close to being ranked without a lot of timing fixes.

Note that everything I say above is based on the hard version. I don't have the time at the moment to go through each one. You can open the osu files in notepad and copy the [TimingPoints] and [Events] (video line only) to normal and easy if you wish to use my fixes.

Btw its a nice song - thanks for introducing us to it!
