[General]
Can you convert that Taiko BG to .jpg please? 1.4mb is a bit large for a background that isn't substantially worse as a JPG.
I don't really like the break placement, since it's generally better to have the break near the middle, a bit skewed towards the end of the map, whereas here the breaks are all near the beginning, with the exception of Lunatic, which has no break. This is also something that's best made consistant, imo. The break should go where it fits best musically and with the player's endurance in mind, which shouldn't change between maps (music obviously is the same).
The purple approach circles blend a lot with Reisen's hair, which is in the middle of the screen, so it is often hard to see.
[Easy]
00:11:542 (1) - For these J's, I'd recommend pulling the red tick down a bit below the endpoint tick, which rounds out the outside a bit more.
01:20:113 (1) - You could probably adjust this slider a bit so that the ticks at the intersection stacked up.
01:34:513 (1,2,3) - How about vertically flipping this combo so that 1,2 isn't under the slider?
01:45:485 (2) - Combo on this note instead of the one before it? Keeps the 4 notes at the center the same colour, which looks nice, and marks off the start of the slider section.
This diff felt really empty, the gaps are too significant, imo. There's pretty much a 1-bar break every 4 bars.
[Normal]
00:11:542 (1) - This combo didn't fit with the music too well, but it's easy to read, so up to you whether you want to change it.
00:23:199 - Feels really empty here again...
00:30:742 (4) - Put this in its own combo?
00:44:628 (1,1,1) - I'd probably put these in one combo, and put the note after in its own combo instead, since that's what you do on Easy. Your call though.
00:59:542 (7) - I recommend not making an identical-looking slider have a different slider speed in a combo. If you keep this slider slow, put a new combo on it and give it a different shape please.
01:06:399 (1) - The spacing in this section is too large for a Normal, and combined with the low AR, catches the player off-guard. Lower the spacing, or keep your previous 1/1 pattern instead of going to 1/2. (I recommend not going to 1/2 at all, you're entering Hard territory here with 1/2 streams at 175 BPM)
01:09:142 (1) - Goes into the HP bar, which doesn't look too good.
01:43:428 (6) - Give the players a break, remove a repeat here. They haven't had a beat of rest since 01:26:971 (1). This is too hard.
01:44:799 (1) - This is definitely Hard territory now.
01:54:057 (2) - This slider's head is in a weird place on the timeline.
01:57:142 (1) - Too hard.
01:58:513 (1,3) - Identical sliders with different numbers of repeats put together is a no-no.
Please watch the difficulty on this. 5/5 MATs polled agreed that these 1/2 streams are too hard for a Normal.
[Hard]
Raise the approach rate to 8 please.
00:30:742 (1) - I recommend removing a repeat from each of these just to give the player more than 86 milliseconds to react.
00:38:113 (5,6) - Goes a bit high again, doesn't look too good if it's under the HP bar.
01:00:913 (1) - A bit of Insane-level mapping here, but it's okay.
01:05:713 (1) - Repeat is obscured by the hitburst/other stuff from the spinner.
01:09:142 (1) - This is a bit too much Insane-level mapping now...
01:22:171 (3) - New combo to mark this jump?
01:22:856 (1,1) - I'd remove a repeat from these 2-repeat sliders, they're hard to predict.
01:30:399 (1) - This slider head is on the second beat of the measure, which is a bit weird when nothing happens there.
01:50:971 (3,4) - The fact that these are sliders are blocked by the spinner-clear message again.
01:53:028 (1) - And a bit more too much Insane-mapping from here to the end.
[Lunatic]
00:06:056 (1) - These sliders could be neater. See
http://www.tinyurl.com/delicioussliderguide.
00:24:742 (5) - New combo for this jump? Not really necessary.
01:30:913 (9) - By this point, the player is reading approach circles instead of focusing on the map itself, so the fact that this is a note and not a slider will be easily missed.
01:36:399 (9) - ^
01:59:885 (1) - No warning of the speed of these sliders at all since it's been a while since your last slider, and since they're so short and so fast, the second one is pretty much a guaranteed miss on your first play through.
[Extra]
00:35:199 (1,2) - Very random note placement (in time, not on the screen) for these parts.
00:38:971 (1) - I recommend marking these jumps with new combos.
00:44:113 (1) - This is really mean with such a short spinner.
00:54:399 (1) - Move this, and the next one, a bit farther from the stack.
00:59:542 (1) - Don't do this, just use a slow-down timing section, unless you really want to keep it.
01:03:656 (1) - ^
01:17:028 (7) - A bit hard to see, but visible enough if you don't want to change it. No one'll complain about this map anyways.
01:27:999 (1) - Not sure why there's this one blue note here.
01:54:913 - Why a gap here? This is already overmapped, might as well keep it that way.
01:55:771 (1) - Better symmetry will put the center tick at the center of the screen.
01:59:885 (1) - This spiral could look better too.
You need to lessen the Normal and Hard. Whether or not Extra is rankable...is a can of worms I don't really want to open at the moment. I will say that even if this mapset was perfect, I would not bubble this Extra for ranking. However, you probably can find a MAT that will, and a BAT that will rank it. (and you can find MATs and BATs that would pop that bubble, so...I dunno.)
In my opinion, this map is harder than Usatei by CnF, which is approved, and shorter in length. But if that map was submitted today as part of a full mapset, it might not be approved anymore, with the number of HL/FL clears on it...
To be safe, or at least to make this map get ranked/approved faster, I would recommend submitting Extra for approval. If you are very against it, just know that this is a point of contention right now with no clear "right" answer.
If I had to say though, I would put my personal line on this map as rankable. But the official policy line is just too blurry.
Good luck.
