I currently have an old wacom intuos tablet and the pen that came with it. I like to hover when playing, but I want to get a thinner pen. Will any stylus that I buy be able to hover, or do i need a specific type of stylus? Also, what would you recommend I get if I want a thinner stylus to play with?

It's a (formerly) patented technology that uses the power of electromagnetic waves to communicate with the pen without the need for batteries. Just keep in mind that Wacom likes to keep their technology proprietary, so you're pretty much limited to only the Wacom pens that are designed for the series of tablet that you use (so you're basically SOL unless you have an Intuos Pro).
