2017-06-12 22:06 Skylish: can be improved
2017-06-12 22:07 Skylish: those ninja are too fast imo, and the SV arts in the linking parts could be smoother

2017-06-12 22:07 Surono: hmmm
2017-06-12 22:07 Skylish: In terms of density, I expect that kiais have high density
2017-06-12 22:07 Skylish: the current one seems too low generally speaking
2017-06-12 22:07 Surono: yehs
2017-06-12 22:08 Skylish: those 7-plets are not enough, the overall density in Kiai should be increased
2017-06-12 22:08 Surono: dem?
2017-06-12 22:08 Surono: so... adding more stream? like 3plet/5plet?
2017-06-12 22:08 Skylish: yup. adding more triplets are good
2017-06-12 22:08 Skylish: and some 5-plets
2017-06-12 22:08 Surono: :^^^^^^^^^^^^)
2017-06-12 22:08 Skylish: to make the map less boring
2017-06-12 22:09 Skylish: 01:39:072 (38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46) -
2017-06-12 22:09 Surono: jst like last half of kiai?
2017-06-12 22:09 Skylish: such as this kind of patterns

2017-06-12 22:09 Surono: kekeke.
2017-06-12 22:09 Skylish: strange, comparing with 01:41:618 (52,53,54,55,56,57,58) -
2017-06-12 22:09 Surono: yea suddenly structure
2017-06-12 22:09 Surono: oki i got it :^
2017-06-12 22:09 Skylish: the second part of Kiai (01:45:436 - )
2017-06-12 22:09 Skylish: the density is good
2017-06-12 22:10 Surono: hmm, and daa bout svs?
2017-06-12 22:10 Skylish: I am just a bit confused with 01:45:981 (79,80,81,82) - / 01:47:436 (90,91,92,93) -
2017-06-12 22:10 Skylish: quite sudden too
2017-06-12 22:10 Surono: bg sounds xd
2017-06-12 22:10 Surono: lol madnuts pattorn

2017-06-12 22:11 Skylish: Ninjas could be just 1.75X

2017-06-12 22:11 Skylish: yeah too ninja
2017-06-12 22:12 Skylish: maybe 1.75X
2017-06-12 22:12 Surono: yeah someone notice it too but i forget to chane it
2017-06-12 22:12 Surono: then graveyard longtim ago
2017-06-12 22:14 Skylish: I am checking other SVs
2017-06-12 22:14 Skylish: for example: 02:22:345 (46,47,48,49,50,51) -
2017-06-12 22:15 Skylish: they are fine and visible, but should something similar be done at 01:55:981 (144,145,146,147,148,149,150,151) - ?
2017-06-12 22:15 Skylish: because these music sound pretty similar
2017-06-12 22:15 Surono: 01:55:981 (144,145,146,147,148,149,150,151) - so in here applied slowdown sv?
2017-06-12 22:15 Surono: oki~
2017-06-12 22:16 Skylish: wait, lemme talk more:
2017-06-12 22:16 Skylish: 01:55:436 (142,143) -
2017-06-12 22:16 Surono: yeah similar @<@
2017-06-12 22:16 Surono: dem
2017-06-12 22:16 Skylish: you use 1.05 and 1.00 respectively, right?
2017-06-12 22:16 Surono: dat lul
2017-06-12 22:16 Surono: yes
2017-06-12 22:16 Skylish: you can remain them as 1.1
2017-06-12 22:16 Skylish: until 01:55:981 -
2017-06-12 22:17 Skylish: slow down the SV at 01:55:981 -
2017-06-12 22:18 Skylish: ** take reference as 02:22:345 (46,47,48,49,50,51) - , you know what to do my boi :>
2017-06-12 22:18 Surono: :V yea dem sir
2017-06-12 22:18 Skylish: This suggestion is applicable to all parts in Kiais
2017-06-12 22:20 Skylish: 04:22:527 - / 04:23:981 - / 04:25:436 -
2017-06-12 22:20 Skylish: okay you have 1.0x 0.9x 0.8x
2017-06-12 22:21 Surono: mmmmmmhhhhhhh~
2017-06-12 22:21 Skylish: I am a bit questionable about the usage here, since from 04:22:527 - to 04:42:890 - , the dynamic (volume) of the music remains the same
2017-06-12 22:22 Skylish: why would you like to use those SV changes there?
2017-06-12 22:22 Skylish: otherwise, you may unite them as ONE low SV in this section
2017-06-12 22:22 Surono: ohhh...
2017-06-12 22:23 Surono: so.. how the value as one sv?
2017-06-12 22:23 Surono: bad math xddddddd
2017-06-12 22:23 Skylish: you mainly use 0.8x, so 0.8x is good to go
2017-06-12 22:24 Surono: :"V im not sv mapper lool
2017-06-12 22:24 Skylish: maybe you want to have that SV ladders down there, I just want to know why you mapped like that
2017-06-12 22:25 Surono: hmmm
2017-06-12 22:26 Surono: 04:23:254 - sfx in this, like wind breeze.. maybe thats the reason why I put ladders sv
2017-06-12 22:26 Surono: okok? @_@
2017-06-12 22:27 Skylish: that's not really noticeable though, if you want to keep that, just keep it
2017-06-12 22:27 Skylish: it's fine
2017-06-12 22:27 Surono: mmmmmhhh dem stylish
2017-06-12 22:27 Skylish: 04:45:799 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - do some volume changes please

2017-06-12 22:35 Surono: ohhhh

2017-06-12 22:36 Surono: but the current seems ok, just just flat flow or idk :V
2017-06-12 22:36 Skylish: you have SV build-ups before Ninja
2017-06-12 22:37 Surono: oh yesh... dem build up
2017-06-12 22:37 Skylish: It is the only place you do not have SV build-ups
2017-06-12 22:37 Skylish: so I think it'd be better to keep them
2017-06-12 22:37 Skylish: *add them back

00:23:799 - Boost the SV here at 1.35, and put a 1.00x line at 00:24:345 - . It makes the boost at 00:23:618 (58) - more suitable to 00:23:981 (59,60) - . While I was actually modding this last night but took a break, you apparenly changed 00:23:618 - to 1.75x but you can change it back to 2.00x since my suggestion is designed to fix the overlap here.

00:41:254 (150,151) - I just had the feeling that dkk could sound better to that part. while I see why you want to use kdk here, you could give it a try.

00:46:890 (13,14,15,16,17) - instead of connecting 00:47:072 (15,16,17) - with 00:46:890 (13) - , (13) could be K (and (14) deleted) so everything important is covered.

00:55:890 (62) - personally I consider kkddk more natural for the rhythm here.

01:09:618 - and 01:09:981 - mainly my feelings I have but you could change them to 0.96x and 0.91x for a smoother and more fitting slow.

01:30:709 - add 1.05x here for a smoother transistion between 01:30:527 (228,229,230) - .

01:33:436 - 01:34:163 - similar to the case of 00:23:799 - you can use 2.00x for 01:33:436 - , 1.35x for 01:33:799 - and 1.10x for 01:34:163 - . The song has some nice parts to use sort of ninja notes but consider to prevent overlaps.

01:37:072 - 01:38:163 - the stream feels 1/2 too early imo and should be moved back like this: https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/GlO1Qi97.png I additionally changed 01:37:799 (31) - to d, to fit better with 01:37:981 (32) - .

01:41:436 - 01:42:345 - similar case, I'd change it to kdkdddk d d k (in case you agreed with me above).

02:22:890 - It's actually interesting that you didn't do a ninja note here - although it's possible by the music. Maybe you want to change it to one with the suggestion I gave above?

02:23:254 - 06:21:254 - pretty much everything what I've pointed out above applies for that section too. I believe you'd keep that consistent on your own anyways.

From overall, the map itself looks pretty calm (if we exclude the Kiai parts) in comparison to the song. Then again, the nature of the song and its sound fits well to that "calm mapping style". The map uses a lot of jiiro mapping - which is fine but can be misunderstood by other people. \o

00:41:254 (150,151) - I just had the feeling that dkk could sound better to that part. while I see why you want to use kdk here, you could give it a try. hmm yeh I'd prefer variation it then because 00:41:072 (149,150,152) - these emphasize..

00:46:890 (13,14,15,16,17) - instead of connecting 00:47:072 (15,16,17) - with 00:46:890 (13) - , (13) could be K (and (14) deleted) so everything important is covered. more emphasized to cymbal? i'd keep for follow drum here

00:55:890 (62) - personally I consider kkddk more natural for the rhythm here. overall I had kkddk for vocal or something weak sounds. thats why here is kkdkk, bcus the instrument are enough high imo

01:09:618 - and 01:09:981 - mainly my feelings I have but you could change them to 0.96x and 0.91x for a smoother and more fitting slow. just 1 value is effected? dem I nub math bcus I just tried to put something decimal

01:30:709 - add 1.05x here for a smoother transistion between 01:30:527 (228,229,230) - . ups XD

01:33:436 - 01:34:163 - similar to the case of 00:23:799 - you can use 2.00x for 01:33:436 - , 1.35x for 01:33:799 - and 1.10x for 01:34:163 - . The song has some nice parts to use sort of ninja notes but consider to prevent overlaps. too ninjas <3 <3

01:37:072 - 01:38:163 - the stream feels 1/2 too early imo and should be moved back like this: https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/GlO1Qi97.png I additionally changed 01:37:799 (31) - to d, to fit better with 01:37:981 (32) - . yep, I see that kk emphasized on kdkkddk

01:41:436 - 01:42:345 - similar case, I'd change it to kdkdddk d d k (in case you agreed with me above). kkdkddk k d k

02:22:890 - It's actually interesting that you didn't do a ninja note here - although it's possible by the music. Maybe you want to change it to one with the suggestion I gave above? exception for this, just like normal as 00:35:254 - but the current you pointd out its down flow/drum with sfx

02:23:254 - 06:21:254 - pretty much everything what I've pointed out above applies for that section too. I believe you'd keep that consistent on your own anyways. oki~~

hi~
random modding.

[Kioku]
  1. 01:02:981 (96) - move to 01:03:163 -
for consistency. 00:50:890 (33,34,35,36,37,38) - and I feel like creating a good flow.

  2. 01:23:436 (195,196) - ctrl+g?
I heard that the pitch of vocal is going down.
There is also kick in 196 so d sounds more powerful and it sounds better.

  3. 02:38:981 (131) - move to 02:39:163 -
    Same as the first suggestion.

  4. 02:59:436 (232,233) - ctrl+g
    same as ^^

  5. 04:07:254 (28,29,30,31,32) - kdkkd?
    04:07:436 (29,32) - kick sound here.
04:07:618 (30,31,32) - Expression that melody 's pitch will fall.

  6. 04:09:254 (1) - k?
    04:09:072 (1,1) - melody pitch follow, dk?

  7. 05:28:254 - add note, d?
You can pick up the long tone of vocal.

that's all,
needs more chata and nayuta vocal song.
good luck~ (。◕ˇдˇ◕。)/

00:12:345 - the immediate huge change in density seemed a bit too much here since musically the only change is addition of that weak hihat.I think you could start it a bit more undermapped (like you already did on 00:12:345 (9,10) - ) and then build up density a bit over the part

01:30:163 (228,229,230,231) - how about splitting the sv change on 01:30:709 - more over this whole pattern? current makes it stand out so much visually which seemed a bit unfitting. alternatively just removing the sv change from 01:30:709 - and only keeping the one on the cymbal might work too

01:43:799 (70,71) - this felt kinda underwhelming since it seemed like such a highlight in vocals, could probably be a triple?
01:44:890 (76,77,78,79) - think this would work well as 5 note stream because vocal stuff at the start is pretty similar, but you only overmapped second vocal. something like https://i.imgur.com/siZDxk4.jpg maybe

same for when both of these repeat in other kiais, like 03:19:799 (70,71) - 03:15:072 (38,39,40,41) -

02:16:709 - even if you didn't primarily follow synth in this part, your rhythm made them all clickable, so suddenly skipping this seemed a bit weird in gameplay
02:22:890 - could use 1.2 sv for this object, since you did similar sv things on spots like 00:46:890 - (same synth thing before a new part of the song) which made current feel a bit underwhelming and 1.2 still keeps 02:23:254 - easy to read
04:23:981 (57,62) - sv change felt a bit abrupt here since the song is rather "linear" if that makes sense lol, think it would be nice if the change was spread out over the whole pattern since that would match the overall feeling of this part better

04:55:981 (2) - shouldnt this be extended until 04:57:072 - ?

  1. 01:02:981 (96) - move to 01:03:163 -
for consistency. 00:50:890 (33,34,35,36,37,38) - and I feel like creating a good flow. its already fit

  2. 01:23:436 (195,196) - ctrl+g?
I heard that the pitch of vocal is going down.
There is also kick in 196 so d sounds more powerful and it sounds better. i wanted to emphasis the impact, not follow the pitch level.

  3. 02:38:981 (131) - move to 02:39:163 -
Same as the first suggestion. keep

  4. 02:59:436 (232,233) - ctrl+g
same as ^^ same as above

  5. 04:07:254 (28,29,30,31,32) - kdkkd?
    04:07:436 (29,32) - kick sound here.
04:07:618 (30,31,32) - Expression that melody 's pitch will fall. intended to emphasized the vocal and kick, so keep.

  6. 04:09:254 (1) - k?
04:09:072 (1,1) - melody pitch follow, dk? I applied monotone concept in here

  7. 05:28:254 - add note, d?
You can pick up the long tone of vocal. 3plet is enough

that's all,

00:12:345 - the immediate huge change in density seemed a bit too much here since musically the only change is addition of that weak hihat.I think you could start it a bit more undermapped (like you already did on 00:12:345 (9,10) - ) and then build up density a bit over the part I would keep to follow the rhythm in here, oriental feels for me.

01:30:163 (228,229,230,231) - how about splitting the sv change on 01:30:709 - more over this whole pattern? current makes it stand out so much visually which seemed a bit unfitting. alternatively just removing the sv change from 01:30:709 - and only keeping the one on the cymbal might work too the 01:30:618 - impact flows started around here, so yeah I would keep for now.

01:43:799 (70,71) - this felt kinda underwhelming since it seemed like such a highlight in vocals, could probably be a triple? the vocal just like flows, not build like 3ple beat
01:44:890 (76,77,78,79) - think this would work well as 5 note stream because vocal stuff at the start is pretty similar, but you only overmapped second vocal. something like https://i.imgur.com/siZDxk4.jpg maybe as said above, 3plet in here already enough to emphasis the build beat from the vocal. 5plet would over imo

same for when both of these repeat in other kiais, like 03:19:799 (70,71) - 03:15:072 (38,39,40,41) -

02:16:709 - even if you didn't primarily follow synth in this part, your rhythm made them all clickable, so suddenly skipping this seemed a bit weird in gameplay i wanted to follow second/bg synth, so yeah tho a bit weird.
02:22:890 - could use 1.2 sv for this object, since you did similar sv things on spots like 00:46:890 - (same synth thing before a new part of the song) which made current feel a bit underwhelming and 1.2 still keeps 02:23:254 - easy to read agreed
04:23:981 (57,62) - sv change felt a bit abrupt here since the song is rather "linear" if that makes sense lol, think it would be nice if the change was spread out over the whole pattern since that would match the overall feeling of this part better I got it, added slowdown svs to give the atmosphere flows here

04:55:981 (2) - shouldnt this be extended until 04:57:072 - ? but im sure the tremolo stop is 04:56:890 - here lol
thanks mank

00:32:345 (103,104,105,106,107) - just saying that i like the 01:07:254 (119,120,121,122,123) - kdkkk more for these sounds but that's your call, i think they highlight the melody better

00:35:254 (120,121) - shouldnt these have the same sv shenanigans going on as 00:23:618 (58,59) - they do the same thing after all

00:35:981 (122) - seemed misplaced at first, but eh i get what you're doing with this i just think it shouldnt be as loud as the first one then

00:45:981 - moving this sv change to 00:45:799 - so that the barline already scrolls faster gives you a better reference point to hit 00:45:981 - more accurately

02:35:254 (113) - should be a finisher as well according to your previous logic

01:33:799 - to 01:35:254 - for the amount of buildup towards this point, this measure kind of lets you down on your hype, i think you should do something more dense for these in all 3 instances where you buildup massive SV towards a chorus because right now this is literally snoozefest

02:49:981 - this spot has different and continuous vocals, leaving a break like you did for 01:13:981 - seems unfitting here, because you force a stop over something that feels continuous

03:58:163 - would move 0.96x sv here and add 03:58:345 - 0.93x sv on this one, makes the pattern look more smooth

04:00:345 - adding a don here makes the kat seem les standalone while still mapping the background melody - i think it feels nicer to play so here's that as a suggestion
04:02:890 - along similar lines, k d d k d seems nicer here - if you do these two suggestions, apply them to 04:06:163 - and 04:08:890 - as well

04:23:072 - since you're using kats a lot in this section you could hint at that by making this a kat to begin with

04:26:163 (65,67) - these seem additive with the level of slowdown you have, i think it's better to remove them

04:27:618 (67,68,69) - i have legitimately no idea what these are supposed to map but they come out of nowhere, and most importantly they dont fit the vocal mapping that you have going on

00:35:254 (120,121) - shouldnt these have the same sv shenanigans going on as 00:23:618 (58,59) - they do the same thing after all hmm I dont think its needed, since both of that are difference emphasis purpose

00:35:981 (122) - seemed misplaced at first, but eh i get what you're doing with this i just think it shouldnt be as loud as the first one then I just wanted to make it for drum emphasis, not the rhythm impact XD

00:45:981 - moving this sv change to 00:45:799 - so that the barline already scrolls faster gives you a better reference point to hit 00:45:981 - more accurately fixed

02:35:254 (113) - should be a finisher as well according to your previous logic so I need to 00:47:618 - add here too? hmm Id keep it since I started focus on vocal layering in here, to make difference with prevous part

01:33:799 - to 01:35:254 - for the amount of buildup towards this point, this measure kind of lets you down on your hype, i think you should do something more dense for these in all 3 instances where you buildup massive SV towards a chorus because right now this is literally snoozefest I already just did at 3rd kiai for increasing intense concept

02:49:981 - this spot has different and continuous vocals, leaving a break like you did for 01:13:981 - seems unfitting here, because you force a stop over something that feels continuous I would like to not add note in here to avoid long 1/2 since its just a calm part, just still focusing on synth and abit vocal

03:58:163 - would move 0.96x sv here and add 03:58:345 - 0.93x sv on this one, makes the pattern look more smooth agreed and applied for etc similar parts

04:00:345 - adding a don here makes the kat seem les standalone while still mapping the background melody - i think it feels nicer to play so here's that as a suggestion still main focus at synth
04:02:890 - along similar lines, k d d k d seems nicer here - if you do these two suggestions, apply them to 04:06:163 - and 04:08:890 - as well same as above

04:23:072 - since you're using kats a lot in this section you could hint at that by making this a kat to begin with rather to keep it as don to make soft emphasis in this atmosphere, 04:28:709 - and etc

04:26:163 (65,67) - these seem additive with the level of slowdown you have, i think it's better to remove them keep since I follow the bg synth, not really bad for me.

04:27:618 (67,68,69) - i have legitimately no idea what these are supposed to map but they come out of nowhere, and most importantly they dont fit the vocal mapping that you have going on yeh as I said before, synth is important for me X"D
