[Archived] Black screen in the editor

Problem Details:
My screen in the editor turns black, except for the top menu, everytime I try to open up a new mp3 file I just dragged in in the editor. This doesn't occur when I only drag in the mp3 file, but occurs when I open it in the editor. This problem doesn't happen with other beatmaps.

Stable Fallback is out-dated and you shouldn't expect to get any updates

does it also happen on other builds?

If you can, please do not use Fallback. It is outdated and shouldn't be used.
Can you switch to Stable and see if it happens there?

On latest, cutting edge and beta it works fine, but with those versions I have a problem with a black bar on the right side of the screen in the whole editor section of osu!. I only use fallback for mapmaking because of that problem.

Try a different resolution and turn off letterboxing see if it changes anything.

Have you turned on compatibility mode?
Try turning it on/off and see if that helps
