[invalid] [resolved] Free the username of a banned player so

So the short version is that i wanted the username since i started osu but it isn't available even now because the name is taken by a banned player
so my question is is there a way to free that name? so i can buy my name change?

I'm fairly certain you'd need to email accounts@ppy.sh and I wouldn't edit out the name you want because someone may steal it.
I could be wrong, though, so wait for further instruction.

The user may not be banned, odds are they are just restricted however restricted players can still be active.

i know it's a banned player i wrote a email like 4 days ago to osu@ppy.sh and asked about the name why it's not available and they told me that the username currently belongs to a banned player :c

We can't help here, so If you've contacted the email, there isn't much else you can do.
