The fact that you reference "pp maps with standardized diff settings" only tells me that you're completely misrepresenting or misunderstanding my issue with maps like these.

I'm saying that there's a reasonable level of difficulty and intensity to expect from listening to a piece of music. I know most of these mappers aren't inexperienced enough to claim ignorance of this fact.

If you blatantly exceed it and purposefully exploit the slightest excuse to throw around massive 1/2 jump sections, and expect it to just be ranked without anyone bitching, you are an embarrassment as a mapper and should really be putting your efforts into something more productive than what is basically a self-serving, self-congratulatory meme. It's just unsightly and I want to expect better out of people. (Note that if this was for Loved or something, I'd actually enjoy this map for the tongue-in-cheek style it would have)

People seem to think that they need to do special, crazy, stupid shit to stand out. You really don't. You'll stand out just by mapping the music god damn right. Song choice is 70% of a map's potential.

This is an example of a map where the song choice is completely irrelevant to the map. The song is nothing more than a basic background metronome to a rhythmic whack-a-mole game. That's what I take offense to. If the song fit, then go bloody nuts - my issue is with people warping the music to their ends, rather than molding their vision to fit the music. (Note that a few difficulties actually do quite nicely follow the music, if extremely heavy-handedly, until they get to their respective "SR-abusing patterns" where all logic and reasoning fly out the window, in those diffs it's these patterns I take issue to, not the entire map as a whole, like Karia's diff, it'd be like 6.2* without the bullshit)

So, basically: if you want to make a 7* map, pick a song that fits 7*. It's not that hard and it'll get you more praise and positive attention than abusing the hell out of a random anime OP.

It would actually be fitting to make an SR7 difficulty for this map.

It's entirely possible with 1/3 screen or 1/2 screen jumps with a few 2/3 screen jumps for an SR7 difficulty to exist here.

It's just that...

The curse diff had objects arranged in the timeline in the way that it should be mapped as an SR5 diff...

Trust me, it could be mapped at SR7 properly.

even with cs4 ffs it's 209 bpm people could map sr7 at 180bpm hi monstrata

00:08:336 - There's a vocal sound here that you might want to empasize (since the sound you've been following the entire section was the vocals so I don't see why you would skip this vocal sound). also helps with more density since the part wasn't really dense in the first place so putting one more circle wouldn't make it that unbalanced with the rest.
00:10:788 (1,2,3) - This rhythm isn't exactly following the song correctly, there should be a 1/2 reverse slider on 00:10:788 (1,2) - just like you put it but you should remove the arrow on 00:11:653 (3) - since the instrument you were following changes pitch and there's also a stronger sound on 00:11:942 - that you might wanna make it clickable.
00:26:942 - For this section, as well as the other 1.1x SV Multiplier sections, it doesn't look very nice to have barely overlapping circles, does it? I recommend that you change the multiplier to something like 1.2x instead of 1.1x
00:29:682 (2,3) - Check AIMod for spacing issues like this and keep your DS constant instead of varying, it can be pretty confusing for players as well
00:33:865 (1,2,3,4,5) - You can especially notice the inconsistency in your spacing here, they are both 1/2 gaps and yet you put different distance snap.
00:49:586 (3,4,1) - Same as above, it's really triggering tbh I can't stop pointing out all of them ;w;
00:58:384 (4,6) - Try to avoid these kinds of overlaps since it ruins your visual structure and aesthetic
01:00:980 (7,1) - These kinds of transitions from one SV to another can be pretty confusing for players regardless if the DS is correct, try making the distance a little bit smaller to differentiate it from a 1/1 gap
01:02:134 (3) - Maybe try making the sound on 01:02:278 - clickable as well? (vocals)
01:03:288 (4,5,1) - Flows badly Ctrl+G
The rest is just repeating so I'm just gonna say this in the final point. Your SV Multiplier changes don't really make sense, the kiai is the most important and intense part of the song (that's how it should be at least) which means that it should have bigger SV Multiplier but in your case it's smaller than the calmer section (for instance, 00:36:173 - this section has 1.1 and the kiai has 1 regardless of the kiai being more intense)
Other thing that I found other than spacing is your kiai should be a lot more dense than the calmer parts to create more contrast. Other than that the diff doesn't have other major issues.

LGV's Hard

The main thing that caught my eye is that this diff is actually a Light Insane. Not only because of the SR but you seem to have a lot of parts that are suitable more for a Light Insane than a hard. For instance let's look at 00:04:875 (1,1) - . You put 0,4x multiplier and right after that a 1x multiplier which players who play hard diffs might be confused by and could result in slider breaking. The next thing is your "jumps". You use way too big DS in the kiai for it to be considered an Hard, also there are a lot of varying in your spacing which might've affected the SR. I recommend you stick to a single DS instead of using variations, it's already high BPM so would be better to keep it simple. Or just rename to Light Insane
Another thing that I found by looking through the map is that you use a lot of unusual and confusing overlaps which affects your visual appearance aka aesthetics. For example 01:00:980 (3,2,1) - 01:02:567 (1,1) - etc.
00:07:903 (2,1) - Why did you use spacing so small here?
00:10:788 (1) - Compared to 00:08:480 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - This spacing is a lot more smaller, make it consistent or there might be confusion
