i hope the Main Menu can change the background colour

and sorry for my bad english...

Peppy has said that no one will be able to touch his main menu with any other type of skin elements

However he might allow background color changes in the future as you asked for, but there is already a suggestion here for that (and prob others) if you want to bump that topic
