Well several differing factors play a role in the specifics of kidnapping. What exactly is your goal in this? Sex?
I'd definitely recommend among other stuff the chloroform already mentioned. I guess if there is a very long distance between you and Target I'd suggest you get a cheap (very cheap) motel in the vincinity, or just use an abandoned pad or something to crash for a few days until you're done.
Kidnapping in general is a very tough case, but large distance seems to suggest customs. It would of course be better if you could "arrange a meeting" somewhere and start the kidnapping from there but that all depends on how well you know Target.
