I would have said Chrono Trigger, since it is one of the best games ever, but I think it's told its story in full. It's a "quit while you're ahead" sort of thing. I wouldn't want another installment to spoil my memory of it due to the high bar set for it.

The game was discontinued due to threats by SquareEnix.

Oh, and the last DS Digimon games were released in Japan last April (they were based off of Xros Wars), and Lost Evolution was released in July 2010. Digimon Masters also launched an English version recently. Digimon also got a follow-up series for the first time since the second season. Digimon has finally made a comeback in Japan, so let's hope it revives itself for America, because Re:Digitized looks awesome.
That said, the only game series that haven't come back that I want to come back are Gotcha Force and F-Zero. Though, Gotcha Force itself is so damn good that it doesn't really need another entry; it's already complete as it is, and online would not help it at all. So, F-Zero on the 3DS with online play, please.
