Hi, first mod ever so bear with me.

00:45:975 (3,4,5,1) - This flow is kinda akward because the triple is going up but you're coming in from the left and little bit above, so you should move 00:45:975 (3) - a little lower or move 00:46:090 (4,5,1) - a little higher.

00:51:629 (6,1) - Think jump is a little too far.

00:52:552 (1,2,3) - The angle on 00:52:782 (2) - is a little wide, maybe move it more to the right or the slider a bit to the left.

01:01:782 (1) - It's better if you just put a slider and a circle here instead of a repeat slider.

01:09:629 (1) - ^

01:07:667 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - I think this jump section is a little too hard for the intensity of the music.

01:11:359 (2) - Put this in front of 01:11:013 (5) - so it flows better into 01:11:475 (3) -

01:21:744 (3,4) - I feel like these are a little too close

01:27:744 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I see what you are trying to do here with the music, but I think regular jumps would be better. Probably increasing in spacing and then decreasing again.

01:37:206 (2,3) - Increase spacing between these 2.

02:37:104 (2,3) - I think this jump is too far for the intensity of the music.

02:38:950 (2,3) - ^

03:00:757 (4,5) - Maybe switch 4 and 5 around here?

03:21:065 (3) - 2 circles instead of this slider here would be better.

03:25:911 (1,2) - Why stack these on the slider?

03:27:180 (2) - ^

04:05:602 (1,2) - I don't feel like these circles here fit with the music.

04:07:449 (1,2) - ^

04:53:140 (3,4) - Don't stack these.

Good luck!

00:51:629 (6,1) - Think jump is a little too far.Fixed!

00:52:552 (1,2,3) - The angle on 00:52:782 (2) - is a little wide, maybe move it more to the right or the slider a bit to the left.I dont think this applies much because you dont need to snap, its a very close note.

01:01:782 (1) - It's better if you just put a slider and a circle here instead of a repeat slider.

01:09:629 (1) - ^Repeat sliders work well here because its mapped to the background synthesizer, if I would change it it would be to a long 1/1 slider, but the drums call for a beat there.

01:07:667 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - I think this jump section is a little too hard for the intensity of the music.I don't agree, it is an 8 star song and its at the end of the buildup, its repeated here but more intense, because its another buildup but even more intense than the last one.

01:11:359 (2) - Put this in front of 01:11:013 (5) - so it flows better into 01:11:475 (3) - Fixed!

01:21:744 (3,4) - I feel like these are a little too close Fixed!

01:27:744 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I see what you are trying to do here with the music, but I think regular jumps would be better. Probably increasing in spacing and then decreasing again. I agree, fixed!

01:37:206 (2,3) - Increase spacing between these 2.Fixed!

02:37:104 (2,3) - I think this jump is too far for the intensity of the music.

02:38:950 (2,3) - ^Fixed!

03:00:757 (4,5) - Maybe switch 4 and 5 around here? I dont agree, the return slider implies reverse of flow, followed by an antiflow right after 03:00:988 (1) - for the very sudden change in music for a beat

03:21:065 (3) - 2 circles instead of this slider here would be better. Agree, fixed!

03:25:911 (1,2) - Why stack these on the slider? I repeated this concept multiple times, 03:21:873 (2) - , 03:27:180 (2,3) - , 03:29:142 (1,2,3,4) - , 03:30:065 (1,2,3,4) -

03:27:180 (2) - ^

04:05:602 (1,2) - I don't feel like these circles here fit with the music.

04:07:449 (1,2) - ^ Changed to slider

04:53:140 (3,4) - Don't stack these. Fixed!

Good luck! Thank you!

just a suggestion instead of mapping 'S' sliders without a red anchor i think some of the 'S' shaped sliders in you map would look better with the red anchor

that's all good luck!

00:54:398 (1,2) - there are strong drum sounds on both of these slider ends. maybe it should be 4 circles instead of 2 sliders? (yes I know what part of the song you are mapping to. still feels weird to not include the drum sounds with the pattern though)
01:07:436 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this doesn't seem like the right rhythm to me. should be 1/2 sliders where 01:07:667 (2) and 01:08:129 (6) - are. also 01:07:436 (1) should be two circles, not a slider to match the mapping to the drums
01:14:706 (1,4) - again, strong drum on these slider ends. you must be mapping to the drums here, right? the other sound is way too low, I could barely hear it.
01:15:398 (5,6,7,1) - I also think this is awkward to play? circle 7 can be moved up and it would play better I think. it goes from a huge jump to 2 small ones and might be weird to hit
01:22:090 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - it seems like you mapped to the guitar(?) here but that rhythm doesn't exist for most of this part? rhythm should be slider where 01:22:436 (3) is, and a circle where this slider end is 01:22:552 (4)
01:38:821 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - I don't agree with this rhythm either. I think it should be two circles then a slider, not a slider and then two circles?
02:30:297 (2,3) - are these meant to be only 1/4 tick apart? it's a huge unexpected jump here
02:50:603 (4) - misleading spacing with the last notes. also you have this habit of putting sliders on two strong notes in a row instead of two circles to emphasize both strong beats by making them both clickable. it creates problems like this:
02:51:065 (2) - this 1/4 slider is mapped to 2 strong beats, but this identical looking one is mapped to only 1 strong beat: 02:51:411 (2). it's inconsistent, I think the first 1/4 slider should be 2 circles
02:51:757 (1) - same problem here, where a really prominent sound is mapped to a slider end
03:03:526 (4) - better effect if this is on top of 03:03:296 (3) instead maybe
03:05:834 (2,2) - same problem here as before

there are some more of the same problems throughout the rest of this map. rhythm doesn't seem consistent in lots of places, and yes I know sometimes you are mapping to instruments that are not the drums. Even besides that, sometimes you skip notes that should be mapped, or put circles where I do not hear any strong notes for any instruments. Sometimes you skip the loud drum sounds in favor of a much quieter sound, and while this is rankable and whatever, my opinion is that the loudest sounds in the song should not be ignored.

really good map otherwise, and I wouldn't mind coming back to do another mod some time.

00:17:397 (2) - This slider can be more curve ?

00:35:874 (2) - This too. The beggining of slider

01:00:398 (4,5,6) - i Think this need be a tripple + slider i mean http://puu.sh/t9oqJ/d8ecc48384.jpg

01:01:782 (1) - This slider looks soooo unconfortable to play . can change the placement http://puu.sh/t9owI/8df6d5407b.jpg or do "slider + note"

01:09:629 (1) - here same like 01:01:782 (1) -

01:10:782 (4,5) - here too. not looks good to play change placement like http://puu.sh/t9oCt/b8bd7f54ff.jpg

01:15:629 (7) - This maybe stack with 01:15:167 (4) - head.

01:26:359 (1,2) - This is not confortable to play and flow looks bad. change the form of slider

02:58:796 (1) - neared to 02:58:911 (2) -

03:04:449 (4,5) - Ctrl + G

03:34:219 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This stream is shorter than the others and the music is the same. I know. Is hard to remake it so can change or not it

05:00:179 (2,3) - This 2 sliders have not flow so i think u need change it.

05:07:217 (1) - make a jump more spaced like it in x:314 y:91[/box]

(yes I know what part of the song you are mapping to. still feels weird to not include the drum sounds with the pattern though) the sound im mapping to which you could ssee, was the electronic sound, the main part, the whole map wasnt really mapped to the drums except for some parts, and I feel like its ok to include thesse ssliders because I repeated the same concept throughout the whole map and its mapped to a strong sound.
01:07:436 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this doesn't seem like the right rhythm to me. should be 1/2 sliders where 01:07:667 (2) and 01:08:129 (6) - are. also 01:07:436 (1) should be two circles, not a slider to match the mapping to the drums Agreed with this, applied!
01:14:706 (1,4) - again, strong drum on these slider ends. you must be mapping to the drums here, right? the other sound is way too low, I could barely hear it. No Im mapping to the electronic sound here still, and it starts on the red tick here, and its ok because the rhythm 'feels' normal because I used another slider here 01:15:167 (4) -
01:15:398 (5,6,7,1) - I also think this is awkward to play? circle 7 can be moved up and it would play better I think. it goes from a huge jump to 2 small ones and might be weird to hitYou are correctomundo, its smaller because the sound isn't as intense as the rest of the jumps. Applied!
01:22:090 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - it seems like you mapped to the guitar(?) here but that rhythm doesn't exist for most of this part? rhythm should be slider where 01:22:436 (3) is, and a circle where this slider end is 01:22:552 (4) I disagree with this one, if you go into 25% speed you can tell its mapped according to the rhythm
01:38:821 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - I don't agree with this rhythm either. I think it should be two circles then a slider, not a slider and then two circles? You *are* technically correct, but I feel like this plays better and the more *intense* sound is when the jumps are, so it kinda matches up.
02:30:297 (2,3) - are these meant to be only 1/4 tick apart? it's a huge unexpected jump here Agreed it is pretty unexpected, applied by removing 3
02:50:603 (4) - misleading spacing with the last notes. also you have this habit of putting sliders on two strong notes in a row instead of two circles to emphasize both strong beats by making them both clickable. it creates problems like this: The spacing isnt really an issue, it correlates well with the rest of the section beforehand
02:51:065 (2) - this 1/4 slider is mapped to 2 strong beats, but this identical looking one is mapped to only 1 strong beat: 02:51:411 (2). it's inconsistent, I think the first 1/4 slider should be 2 circles again, technically right, but I feel like a triple here would be pretty unexpected and I put the pattern that is there for niceness and it plays well and it feels good with the music, because the electronic sound (which I've been mapping to the whole time) is the same sound
02:51:757 (1) - same problem here, where a really prominent sound is mapped to a slider end Again, technically right, but its a slow part of the section so I feel like its justified
03:03:526 (4) - better effect if this is on top of 03:03:296 (3) instead maybe Agreed, fixed!
03:05:834 (2,2) - same problem here as before Same as before, technically right but ya

there are some more of the same problems throughout the rest of this map. rhythm doesn't seem consistent in lots of places, and yes I know sometimes you are mapping to instruments that are not the drums.

I always used to have a slight problem with rhythm since I began mapping, and I feel like this mod actually really helped me as a mapper, thanks!

Prefer be hp 5 To not die so fast :D Actually agree, changed to 5.3

00:17:397 (2) - This slider can be more curve ? Agree, fixed

00:35:874 (2) - This too. The beggining of slider Agree, fixed

01:00:398 (4,5,6) - i Think this need be a tripple + slider i mean http://puu.sh/t9oqJ/d8ecc48384.jpg I disagree, BUT this made me notice a weird rhythm so I changed 01:00:744 (7,8,9,10) - to a stream

01:01:782 (1) - This slider looks soooo unconfortable to play . can change the placement http://puu.sh/t9owI/8df6d5407b.jpg or do "slider + note"

01:09:629 (1) - here same like 01:01:782 (1) -

01:10:782 (4,5) - here too. not looks good to play change placement like http://puu.sh/t9oCt/b8bd7f54ff.jpg These are supposed to be uncomfortable to play, because its part of the gimmick of this section

01:15:629 (7) - This maybe stack with 01:15:167 (4) - head. Agreed, but already fixed from other mod lol

01:26:359 (1,2) - This is not confortable to play and flow looks bad. change the form of slider The flow is fine, it doesnt need to look nice :P

02:58:796 (1) - neared to 02:58:911 (2) - disagree

03:04:449 (4,5) - Ctrl + G disagree

03:34:219 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This stream is shorter than the others and the music is the same. I know. Is hard to remake it so can change or not it its mainly to build emphasis, disagree

05:00:179 (2,3) - This 2 sliders have not flow so i think u need change it. disagree, doesn't need flow because you don't need to move the cursor along the slider because of slider leniency

05:07:217 (1) - make a jump more spaced like it in x:314 y:91 Agreed, fixed!
Thank you for mod!

Reality Check Through the Skull

Genocide Route

  1. Hitsounds, overall, I think you could up the volume a bit on. They're a bit quiet and hard to hear even when the audio is slowed down in editor.
  2. I'm not sure what you're storyboarding with, but could you organize the images into a SB folder? As it is rn it's a bit cluttered in the file with the images everywhere. If you're using storybrew you should be able to relink the images in code, just add to the file path.
  3. I'd suggest turning on the epilepsy warning in the song setup design tab: http://puu.sh/tLVLQ/1a86a4db31.png. There's some bright flashy moments in your SB and it should prompt it I say.
  4. As for hitsounds, it appears you're copying and pasting the same sounds for each sound set, is that correct? Like using the same finishes, etc. (correct me if I'm wrong.) There's a much easier way to do this, so let me see if I can explain this in a way that hopefully makes sense xd
You see these two?: http://puu.sh/tLW1l/59f71ab63e.jpg. They can be used to customize hitsounds without having to change the sampleset with a green line or whatever. For each individual note, you can change the sampleset (the hitnormal) or the additions (the other shenanigans on top) and adjust them to a different one. So, if you have multiple hitsounds like this, perhaps assign one to soft, one to drum, one to normal, etc. and then manually change the ones you need changed with those two dropdown menus. Of course it may seem tedious, but it's really not bad, since you can select a bunch of notes at once then apply what you want in the dropdown in one click and drag. If you set it to automatic, it'll just go with what the last green line assigned it. This hopefully should help to clean up the file a bit so you don't have to use as much space, and not as many hitsounds ^^
  5. Do you think you could just use slider tickrate 1? 2 feels a bit much, especially with the intro.
  6. Shouldn't the timing points at 00:33:355 and 00:35:197 have volumes of 25% as well? Felt awkward with the song change.
  7. 00:45:398 (3) - I'd suggest NCing this, with the previous slider patterns the 3 beat NC pattern would fit here. Also, might I suggest with this note perhaps making the flow a little more sharp? With the sort of movement you've been developing something more along the lines of this would fit better imo: http://puu.sh/tLWLP/07ce8520fd.jpg
  8. 00:54:398 (1) - Missing a clap on sliderend with how you've been hitsounding.
  9. 00:54:629 (2) - And same for the sliderhead here ^
  10. 01:08:706 (3,4) - Just curious, why overlap these instead of spacing? I'm guessing it's due to the repeated pitch? If so, be consistent with this and apply the same at 01:10:552 (3,4).
  11. 01:19:436 (1) - Just a bit iffy on this blanket. Could be more obvious.
  12. 01:29:590 (1) - Sliders like this can be really annoying to make, but if you do make them I strongly suggest doing your best to make the first part and end part as parallel as humanly possible. It'll look a lot better aesthetically, promise: http://puu.sh/tLX7U/04a29ac4a5.jpg
  13. 02:28:220 (3) - 100% subjective preference, but if you make wavies like this on a smaller scale they tend to be less wavy looking. If it's what you want, keep. however, for a better "waviness", http://puu.sh/tLXjZ/be5dec6d94.jpg is how I suggest you do it. L'oreal, because you're worth it
  14. 02:31:335 (5,1,2) - I don't agree with this intensity spike personally, the sliderend is mapped on nothing and song intensity really hasn't picked up yet, so I think your map should better reflect that in this point. nevermind, listened with higher volume and heard the melody lol
  15. 02:42:412 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - Ahh, this could be so good! I like that you start with the really sharp, almost back and forth flow. However, perhaps you could "open it up" until it is as wide as 02:43:911 (1,2,3)? Decreasing the tightness as it progresses to the chorus would be super cool. Just an idea.
  16. 03:16:911 (3,4) - This blanket is a bit off, remember the good ol' approach circle trick when fixing these.
  17. 03:38:142 (1) - There's some nooks and crannies here that make it a bit too much IMO. The other guitar sounds have fairly smooth sliders to represent them, and I don't think this one should be too different since it's very similar to those.
  18. 03:42:526 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - Cool concept! However, your timing for when they play over each other are all over the place. Even with the different beat snap divisors, try to adjust it so they can at least be similar, since some are like 1/8 and some are 1/4.
  19. 04:16:679 (1,2,3,4) - Little aesthetic issue. Try to make these equally spaced from each other side-by-side and at the same angle overall, if that makes sense. http://puu.sh/tLYy9/7ca93ae6a5.jpg
  20. 05:08:371 (1) - There's a tad of a flash of red in the storyboard which I'm guessing is unintentional. Can't get it on a timestamp but it plays through here.

I usually don't like high jump intensity endings, but honestly it really fits nicely here, well done! o// Most of my stuff was nitpicky and not so much about the map, you did a good job. GL!

genocide

  1. 00:37:040 (1,2) - why not stack 2 on the slider end so it properly blankets looks messy this way
  2. 00:40:921 (2,3,2) - make the slider point at the stack for cleaner look?
  3. 00:42:537 (1,1,2) - this would look a lot nicer if it was overlapped the same amount
  4. 01:00:052 - imo this should definitely be clickable, making 00:59:936 (1) - a circle placed somewhere else and making the first note of this triple clickable will make it so much more impactful for player
  5. 01:00:398 (4,5,6) - this is a 5 burst in the music, the impact is in the first 3 notes so randomly ignoring the 1/4 is really weird, just make this a 5 burst especially because you map out 01:00:744 (7,8,9,10,1) -
  6. 01:25:321 (2,2,2,2) - your line isnt even D:
  7. 02:06:066 (2,3,2,3) - i really do not like this aesthetic, the overlap is really gnarly even though i see what you're doing, maybe increase the angle so there isnt an overlap between 02:06:066 (2,2) -
  8. 02:16:681 (1) - this wave slider isnt even D:
  9. 02:40:104 (6,7,8,9,1) - perhaps move 7 here for a better flow and aesthetic and emphasis https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7546934
  10. 02:44:373 (1,4) - why not just stack this
  11. 03:13:334 (4,1) - not a fan of this spacing, really difficult to read as the 1/1 is the exact same spacing as the 1/2, maybe find a way to stack this like you've handled all the other 1/1 to 1/2 up to this point?
  12. 04:59:948 (1,3) - unrankable slider overlap because there isnt enough time for it to fade out
  13. 05:15:178 (6,1) - is there a way to avoid this overlap? ruins the aes of the whole section

check and make sure the drain time is approval length because im 99% it isnt

wasnt sure what to expect but pleasant surprise, i liked a lot of the patterns in the map like the overlap meme stuff at 01:00:975 - was quite cool imo

good luck!

  1. 00:37:040 (1,2) - why not stack 2 on the slider end so it properly blankets looks messy this way agree
  2. 00:40:921 (2,3,2) - make the slider point at the stack for cleaner look? agree
  3. 00:42:537 (1,1,2) - this would look a lot nicer if it was overlapped the same amount nice catch, applied
  4. 01:00:052 - imo this should definitely be clickable, making 00:59:936 (1) - a circle placed somewhere else and making the first note of this triple clickable will make it so much more impactful for player agree
  5. 01:00:398 (4,5,6) - this is a 5 burst in the music, the impact is in the first 3 notes so randomly ignoring the 1/4 is really weird, just make this a 5 burst especially because you map out 01:00:744 (7,8,9,10,1) - agree
  6. 01:25:321 (2,2,2,2) - your line isnt even D: fixed
  7. 02:06:066 (2,3,2,3) - i really do not like this aesthetic, the overlap is really gnarly even though i see what you're doing, maybe increase the angle so there isnt an overlap between 02:06:066 (2,2) - agree, doesnt look amaz
  8. 02:16:681 (1) - this wave slider isnt even D: fix
  9. 02:40:104 (6,7,8,9,1) - perhaps move 7 here for a better flow and aesthetic and emphasis https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7546934 agree
  10. 02:44:373 (1,4) - why not just stack thisu rite, i missed this
  11. 03:13:334 (4,1) - not a fan of this spacing, really difficult to read as the 1/1 is the exact same spacing as the 1/2, maybe find a way to stack this like you've handled all the other 1/1 to 1/2 up to this point? agree, made 1 closer to make the reading less aids
  12. 04:59:948 (1,3) - unrankable slider overlap because there isnt enough time for it to fade out dang is that really unrankable?? ://// ok ill change
  13. 05:15:178 (6,1) - is there a way to avoid this overlap? ruins the aes of the whole section

check and make sure the drain time is approval length because im 99% it isnt shit youre right, how did you realize this LOL its a second under, mapped first break.

01:18:052 (6) - overlaps with 01:17:475 (4) -
02:03:758 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - no reason for the spacing between the slider and the notes to be so high here, at most 1/2 of the current distance is good
02:30:297 (2) - note's hitsound is almost inaudible, turn up volume
02:52:219 (3) - overlaps with head of 02:51:180 (1) -
03:43:449 (1,1,1) - buzz is too loud, turn down just a little bit
04:48:986 (1) - dont overlap end with 04:49:217 (2) -
05:11:486 (6) - blanket with head of 05:11:256 (5) -

nice map
