Hello there, saw this game at a lan cafe about a week ago, had a go for an hour or 2 then, and downloaded it today to muck around with for a couple of hours at home.
At the moment I'm finding the power/speed metal songs to be the most fun to play, sonata arctica, rammstein, avenged sevenfold etc. I've downloaded the metal pack and most of those songs are fairly fun.
At first I was just trying to find songs that I knew from stepmania, unfortunately there isn't that many of the better stepmania songs on osu it seems.
I absolutely refuse to play any song with a japanese girl singing, it sounds like screeching in my ears. However I believe I should point out at this time that I actually dont listen to any music other than when playing stepmania/osu which is kinda odd. I don't actually like music but I do love the skill involved in beat games like this, and I'm competitive to an unhealthy degree.
If anyone can point me in the direction of some decent 4.5-(low)5star songs that fit this, I'd be very appreciative, if not, all good.
