xi - Happy End of the World

So, I've lately been playing more mania than usual. I've found Blocko's mapset on the song mentioned above. It quickly became my favourite.

And that's basically it. I want to make a huge beatmap project on this song.

THE DIFFICULTIES I MAKE

Hard around 2,5-3,3*

The End around 7*

Oni yep, I'm a multi-mode player and creator.

THE GDS I'M LOOKING FOR

NEVER USE MORE THAN HP6

Easy Restrictions: AR<6, CS<3,7

Normal Restrictions: CS<4, remember normal is a difficulty for beginners, make it EASILY readable for ALL players.

Hyper harder than hard, easier than light insane. Restrictions: CS<4,1, try not to make a triplet/stream overdose.

Light Insane harder than hyper, easier than insane. Restrictions: CS<4,1

Insane try to keep it between 4,2 to 4,9* Restrictions: CS4, AR<9,1

* Light Extra harder than insane, easier than extra. Restrictions: CS4

Extra 5.25-5,9* Restrictions: AR<9,6, CS<4,3

Catastrophic Extra 6-6,7* Restrictions: AR9,5+, CS<4,3 Don't make it unreadable. Since The End diff bases on jumps and streams with easily readable patterns I don't want a diff in which people will have harder time to fc than with a 7* diff.

Kantan Taiko mappers know how to make a Kantan diff.

* Futsuu Restrictions: Don't use triplets. That is three fast notes nearly impossible to hit with one finger.

Muzukashii Restrictions: Don't uveruse triplets. Make it look like Muzukashii, which means make it have a Muzukashii icon, not futsuu or oni.

* Cup just don't make it have a salad icon. Restrictions: CS<3,5

* Salad make it harder than cup and easier than platter... Restrictions: CS<3,9

* Platter blah blah blah... Restrictions: CS<4,2 Don't overuse red fruits.

* Rain Make a rain appropriate difficulty. Restrictions: Make a reasonable CS and AR.

* Overdose Restrictions, reasonable CS and AR, don't make it over 6,5*.

DIFFICULTIES WITH A STAR BEFORE THEIR IMAGE [*] ARE DIFFICULTIES I MIGHT COMPLETE A MAPSET WITHOUT.

There is already a 30 diff mapset for mania with this song, so if you decide to submit mania diff, there's a little chance of it being accepted. If you want to maximize it:

-make it either 4 or 7K.
-make it over 5* (4K) or over 6,5* (7K)
-make it HIGH QUALITY as always. The mania quality restriction is more demanding though.

HOW TO APPLY

Follow the application form
1. Which diffs do you want to make?
2. How fast do you create? (be truthful, at the end of the project I'll find out anyway)
3. Post a link to one of your maps (It doesn't matter whether it's ranked or not) I want to see how you create.
WARNING I don't care about "This is my map but I've improved since I've created it" I look at what you made and I get you create like that always.

WHAT TO DO IF I ACCEPT YOUR APPLICATION?

Create the diffs. If you finished any, contact me in-game by pm or anyhow else you want. The best way would be in-game though.

NOTE: If you have information about who I am on FaZebuk, Twatter, ruddit or anything I hardly ever use these sites, so don't try to contact me that way.

IF MY APPLICATION GETS ACCEPTED IS MY DIFF SURE TO BE IN A MAPSET?

haha, NO.

if you see someone that make e.g insane diff already got accepted, DON'T hesitate to apply on the same diff! There's always a chance the map they submit will be far from what I wanted and he won't even be able to correct all mistakes in time.

HOW TO MAXIMIZE THE CHANCE OF YOUR DIFF BEING IN THE MAPSET?

1. JUMPS/STREAMS > UNREADABLE PATTERNS if you make a map with confusing patterns NO MATTER what diff, I will NOT accept it.
2. Once you create the diff and I got it, it's MOST LIKELY not going to be what I dreamt of. But, there's a high chance your diff will be CLOSE to what I dreamt of. I'll tell you what is wrong with it, and once you correct it, it's in!
3. Follow the restrictions to each diff.
4.If easy diff doesn't have the restriction saying you can't have OD10 in it, it doesn't mean you CAN. The restrictions I wrote are restrictions that forbid the things that normally wouldn't be that nonsense. Use your mind, OD10 in Easy diff IS nonsense.
5. I adore CS4. in 3 diffs I allowed the use of more than CS4 but I don't approve of it really. Remember that CS4 shouldn't be used in easy/normal diffs though ;)
6. USE THE SAMPLE, MP3 AND BG TO WHICH LINKS ARE AT THE END OF THE THREAD.

A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO MIND

1. If I get 2 submissions for 1 diff, 95% I'll choose the better one. If BOTH difficulties are PERFECT, I MIGHT accept both!
2. I won't accept a badly timed diff, or with anything ridicolus like HP,OD,AR,CS,SV or anything.
3. I won't accept unfinished diffs blah blah...

NAMING YOUR DIFFS

Obviously {Nickname}'s {Diff}, but sometimes you can use {Nick}'s {Diff}... as always.

Oh I forgot to write when the deadline is. I'd like to have the mapset finished before 1st of October. Depending on the submissions, I might make it a few days later or earlier.
DeletedUser_6637817
Jo, interested in doing Kantan, Futsuu and Muzukashii!

I will try to get them all done in time, please pressure me if the deadline is very close!

Heres one of my maps!

Your map should get ranked. Accepted!
_DT3
Just passing by, I wish you good luck on the mapset ^^
Also, be careful on how many diffs you wanna really do, the more diffs the harder the ranking process is (I know it from myself hehe)

Thank you very much! So far I'm not having too much luck on it though :(

I'd be very grateful if you could for example mention the project in a conversation with a friend or anything... After all nearly everyone loves xi so I'm sure that the reason for the lack of people needed is most likely the fact that 2 people other than me know about the project ;-;

This way I could also credit you in the description blah blah...

And as to multiple diffs I don't think I should care honestly. The more diffs the harder to rate works because the more diffs the more things done wrong. And I don't allow any mistakes by myself ;)

I am interested in this but i sux
But i'll apply anyway. I might map insane or extra

Not bad. I'd like the streams to fit the song a little more and be a little more readable than in the extra diff. Same with the jumps. I'd also like you to feel safe in the field of overmapping. My ideal of streams are like in this https://osu.ppy.sh/s/292301 or this https://osu.ppy.sh/s/368060 map. Accepted.
AzureDoctor
I would like to make an Easy or Normal difficulty!
This map is from quite some time ago, but it's the only thing I have. https://osu.ppy.sh/s/483863
I hope you can accept :? I really love this song and I would love even more to make a GD for it. Thanks in advance!
AzureDoctor
Also, the timing was off. I found a more accurate BPM and offset that doesn't require as much uninherited timing points:

Hey, i'm interested in joining the project :)
1. Which diffs do you want to make? Insane (Or light extra if that becomes a more needed diff)
2. How fast do you create? Considering the song is 6 minutes i would say a week or two to create my diff
3. Post a link to one of your maps https://osu.ppy.sh/s/506914 around the same star rating as the insane you want
Have a nice day and GL with the project :D

This map is from quite some time ago, but it's the only thing I have. https://osu.ppy.sh/s/483863
I hope you can accept :? I really love this song and I would love even more to make a GD for it. Thanks in advance!
Don't use sliders with more than 1 reverse arrow, other than that it's a well-made map. Accepted.

I loved the song you chose ;) and I'm satisfied of the map too. Try not to overuse short sliders with 1 line between them, and other than that I'm pretty sure you'll make a nice diff :)
