Welcome! We're a bit late, but it's finally here! This is the North America osu!standard Tournament, an open registration tournament for all players living within Canada, the United States, Mexico, and all other countries in the North American region. This is actually a restart of the tournament due to an unfortunate cancelling of the previous run of NAT 2016. As such, the players who had signed up previously are automatically granted a spot in the tournament for this run.

Information regarding how the tournament will be set up:
- The tournament will consist of 1v1 matches.
- First round matches will be seeded by pp rank.
- This will be a Double Elimination Tournament.
- Each match, your multiplayer room will consist of one referee.
- You can choose any map pertaining to the round itself.
- Failure to show up at agreed match time results in a loss. There will be 10 minutes of leeway for players showing up late.
- Each match until semi-finals will consist of a Best-of-7 match. (3 maps chosen by each participant with an additional tiebreaker map if it comes to that) meaning that it takes 4 wins overall to be victorious.
- Matches during semi-finals will consist of Best-of-9 match, meaning that it takes 5 wins overall to be victorious.
- Matches during bracket finals onwards will consist of a Best-of-11 match, meaning that it takes 6 wins overall to be victorious.
- Each player may pick one warmup under 6 minutes long.
- First warmup pick is decided by !roll.
- First match pick is also decided by a seperate !roll
- Selection of maps in the mappool is free. There are no bans, and you can select any map from any mod selection in the mappool. Each map can be picked once.
- Mappools will have a selection from 4 brackets: Nomod, Hidden, HardRock, DoubleTime
- Mappools in the first round until semi-finals will have 6 nomod maps, 3 maps in the other mod categories, and 1 tie-breaker.
- During semi-finals, the mappool will have 8 nomod maps, 3 maps in each mod category, and 1 tie-breaker.
- The mappool during the finals will have 8 nomod maps, 4 maps in each mod category, as well as the tie-breaker.
- Tiebreaker maps will allow freemod.
- If a player disconnects, they get treated as if they failed the beatmap.
- Disconnects within 30 seconds after a map begins can be rematched. This is at the referee's discretion.

- First place: 72 points
- Second place: 48 points
- Third place: 24 points
- Top 8 players: Guaranteed acceptance into NAT2017
- Switch to the default skin.
- Creates the room with an appropriate Match title. Example: NAT2016: (A1) vs (A64)
- Save the link to the multiplayer history.
- Set the match to Team Vs mode.
- Remain host during all maps and use the multiplayer chat to take each player's requests.
- Do not skip the intro and do not participate in the match.
- Screenshot (Shift+F12) the results of each match.
- Create a post containing the match title, history and screenshots afterwards.
