New Hush-Hush Achievements

just got the "prepared" achievement. what i did was play https://osu.ppy.sh/b/604999 on easy + hr + nf. actually i tried getting the camera shy achievement since a comment pointed into that direction. i'm pretty sure nf is a requirement to getting the achievement. i'm pretty sure hr has absolutely nothing to do with it. 100% accuarcy might be something you need.

so anyone knows how to get the other new ones :?

edit: played https://osu.ppy.sh/b/232665 + nc for "to the core". probably just need to play anything with nc. maybe you need to fc it. maybe it needs to have nightcore in the title and you need to play it with extra nc? (since it says double negatives do sometimes make a positive)

id really want to get the "most improved" achievement but im not able to get it...
i read somewhere in the internet that you have to play some map and get rank D then retry and get Rank S or FC.
i did that like over 20 times in a row and still got no achievement -.-
hope someone can tell us here :o

It seems it can be done with any beatmap and gamemode, you need to get 100% accuracy with NF.

Yeah i had it on another nightcore map with NC on, can be done on all gamemode too and no need to FC.


"Eclipse" can be done with HDFL on any beatmap but only on std. No need to FC. It doesn't work if you add HRDT or any other mods i guess.

i had the same problem so what i thought about it a bit and actually got it from a map where i got a d and then an s BUT additionally my 2nd score got over 10.000 ranks higher than my previous one. so i looked for a map that is played often and did it there iirc. not sure which one it was though :/

I'm still not 100% sure on how to get Most Improved cause there's a lack of good information out there but I'll tell you how I got it if you want to piece together things.

I got it from a map I had already had A and B rank scores on in the past, it was a map I had played several times before when I was worse, but could never FC. I randomly decided to try it one day with NF+HDHR and got a C or D rank because I couldn't read it. Immediately after, I played it with no mods and got an S and the achievement.

From other peoples' accounts on the achievement that I have read in the past, it seems like you do need more than just 2 scores on the map to get this achievement, so you can't just play a map twice and get a D followed by an S with a huge score increase. Or maybe you can? This is definitely one of the most complex requirements (of the old hush-hush achievements at least).

EDIT: Also you do NOT need every single letter rank on the map to get this, I was missing either C or D. My guess would be you need at least 4 of S,A,B,C,D ranks, and improve from a D to an S in the same session, possibly with a certain amount of score increase. Of course I could be completely wrong too.

also it's worth noting that some of the older achievements had multiple ways of obtaining them. some of these were intended and others might not have been (for example stumbler, you can get a FC with low accuracy or a FC with no 300s, the second of which can be done on mania with all rainbow 300s).

so with the newer achievements keep in mind that just because there is one way to earn them doesn't mean that is the only way to earn them, and there might be a second way!

I believe it needs to be on the first time you ever play a map
And I have also read something as 'increase your score by more than 10x'

just passed https://osu.ppy.sh/b/20584 on ctb with dt. got the preservance achievement, but not the time dilation one :x
edit: played the same map on standard. still no time dilation achievement.
edit2: played parapara max + dt on standard. got it now. probably my fault was that you probably need 10 minutes with dt already calculated in. so probably a 20 min drain time map + dt. = 10 min drain time.

I got Sum of All Fears after losing my SS a few notes from the end of a map, so I tried to retry so my non-SS score didn't submit. I missed the last note while pressing the retry button but I was apparently too late and the score went through with the miss on the last note and I got the achievement.

The game is taunting me.

I can confirm this doesn't work strictly based on this requirements, because i was playing a lot of FL yesterday for SS on easy maps, some with below 100 combo so area never shrinks. There would have to be some other factors involved such as a certain star rating, length, or not FCing.

This seemes correct for most people but there are some exeptions. For instence I can't get Behold no deception no matter how many 4*+ map I pass with EZ...

indeed I ddidn't noticed that. I think it could be OD10HP10 only then. People thought it was also AR10 'cause OD10HP10 map are more likely AR10 as well I think

There is many obscure condition... I'll do some experiment with people that havn't those achievement yet

About Behold no deception, It's definitly more than juste pass with EZ. I get it on that play https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5916024 (I did it for Dekasight, I didn't expected that xD). But some people get it simply by passing a map with EZ

Passed this https://osu.ppy.sh/b/674188 and got it.

I didn't test it and I don't have a way to do it anymore because I already got the achievement, but It might be 7 minutes of Drain Time. Someone who haven't got it yet might want to test it in a map other than the one suggested previously in this thread.

https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5925627 Map - https://osu.ppy.sh/b/762274 Probably Drain Time after DT > 7 minutes. There are very few maps that can achieve this that are DT'able.

I FC'ed this with a pathetic acc https://osu.ppy.sh/b/53554 and no Feel the Burn then...

https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5925193 (Map - https://osu.ppy.sh/b/366919 ) This time I intentionally test something a bit above 7 minutes of drain time. Seem like this is the case.

For Lights Out, Eclipse and similars you need the exact combination of mods to get each. Playing a map HDNCFL won't get both Lights Out and Eclipse in one go for example. This is the same for the single mod achievements (not Hush-Hush.)

Up For The Challenge from https://osu.ppy.sh/b/98995 +HR, seems to be OD10 + HP10.

Camera Shy: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5925025 +NFHD, didn't get even close to top 500 with this play because there is no way a HD score on this map with this acc would beat a wall of HDDTs and HD scores over 99%. It's probably NFHD or NFHR as pointed by F1r3tar or even HFDT.

Of course legth is about drain time, it was already the case for nonstop.

About the rest, I note your exepriments, it will help me.

Also the fact that star achievemets has to be nomod only is no longer true, you can now get them with mode.

Yeah, this was fixed long ago, I would've gotten the 6 star FC thing earlier because of Daidai Genome or Brand New World, and not yesterday with Natsukoi Hanabi...
