I don't know why you would ever need this.

But even so, isn't that sort of a privacy thing. You are not required to put your location on your user page, and people choose not to. And also, would it work in proximity to the device that you are on? How would that work out?

There's already a feature for this. Use this:

This already does the trick, though I believe that has a 200km radius (which makes it rather obsolete for people in the Netherlands), so lowering it wouldn't hurt :c
