I don't know how strong the board game community is on osu! but I thought I could throw in an idea for a game to play sometime. Vassal is an online board game engine that lets you play certain board games online depending on the "modules" that are available. I recently picked up Battlestar Galactica: the Board Game, but haven't been able to fully play a face-to-face game. This is where I turn to osu! Battlestar Galactica is, admittedly, a "deep-end" board game and is certainly not one of your Monopolies or Scrabbles! Hopefully this video will help brief you on the main idea and objectives of the game.
The game generally takes upwards from 2-3 hours. If it's your first time playing, expect the game to last up to four or more. (Plus, Vassal can take a little while longer since moving pieces and cards with a mouse isn't exactly the most intuitive control.) To help with getting the game rolling and understanding the game, I urge you to read the rules PDF in advance. This will all be done in real-time, so we will have to meet up at the appropriate time to play. I should generally be available on most Fridays and Saturdays and keep in mind that I am in the PST time zone.
I'm hoping to get more board game sessions in osu! and hopefully we'll be able to establish a good community of it on here. The game is from 3-6 players and people generally recommend 5 as the sweet spot.
