About AR9 map
In this 1 month between,has 12 map be rank(3.21-2.19):
Yousei Teikoku - keep existing (Short Ver.) [Insane]
Amuro vs Killer - Mei [Another]
ZUN - Hartmann's Youkai Girl [Ipvarsh]
Kino Nei - Ougon Musou Kyoku ~Konjiki no Chi ni Somaru Mae ni~ [Golden Truth]
Hatsune Miku - Love-colored Ward [Insane]
Ikareru Kin no Shishi - G59 [Another]
Ryu* Vs. Sota - Go Beyond!! [Sp's Darkness]
ALiCE'S EMOTiON - Nightmare before xxx [Lunatic]

Oh,I mean is,In the last year,2010
mabye used Six months I Can be suffer 10 AR9 map.

in 2011,just 1 month I can see 12.
This isn't too much? or This isn't too high frequencies?

maybe a lot pro was happy to play AR9 map,
But I believe that this would enable more Medium grade players to feel the pain

When we look to their favorite songs, 4.5star diff has 4,000,000 score, but its easy.
5star diff has 8,000,000 score, but its AR9, is soooooo hard
I feel the pain of this choice

So I suggest, can limit the number of AR9map be rank?
like 1 month Up to 5.

I feel that this is only the beginning
AR9 the trend of gradually started to become mapper
I can not to judge this is good or bad.
But I do not want to see, half a year later, most of the map is AR6 of 4,5star, next diff is AR9 of 5 stars
at that time,5stars start threshold is not too high?

no. limiting the number of maps with AR9 isn't that good of an idea.
also if someone can't play with a high AR then they can just practice more
no support

Now, in your opinion may be not that much, but if this trend continues ...
AR9 exercise many are in fact many,like approved,like in 2011 was be rank maybe more than 25map...

So I feel the need to suppress
Can you imagine everyone make there first map will be make last diff AR9?

while we're at it we should limit the number of Japanese maps being ranked

So you expect the BAT team to all collaborate and go "OK, I JUST RANKED AN AR9 MAP GUYS, YOU CAN ONLY RANK 24 MORE."

If you want to play difficult maps, practice. Back when I used to play osu!, I practiced for a bit, and by the time I stopped, I could play higher level maps. If I actually gave more effort before going to CtB andbefore my computer became terrible, I could have probably played more insane maps.

Or, you could do what I did when I got lazy in CtB and just play a different map. Or just play the easier diff. I've had plenty of intances of "omg this has 1mil score but the other has 4mil score which to choose". If you're going to get stressed out about how you can't play AR9 maps, then just play the easier one. You'll get some points, and you'll be all swag because you passed a map for a song you like. Being a rankhoar is bad :D~.

What should be stopped is the trend to consider a map only for his last difficulty, which is what you're doing right now.
We have more than 2 difficulties on most beatmaps nowadays: if you can't play the last difficulty of a beatmap, play an easier difficulty or wait until you improve by practicing more.

I can't play some maps but I'm not complaining anywhere because it's ME who can't play it, not because the map is necessarily bad.
I've been playing Marisa wa Taihen na Mono wo Nusunde Ikimashita for three years and i still can't FC it because it's hard to me yet I'm not complaining because it's my fault, i even like that map a lot.

Limiting this kind of stuff is only painful, stressful and unnecessary, let mappers map as they wish.

Looking through it everything has already been said on this thread that needs to be

As said this would be like limiting the amount of Japanese maps in month etc, it is all just personal preference and what people feel like making. I doubt AR9 will never be more popular than AR8 in general but some songs mapped work really well with it giving us no right to limit how many maps can use it in a certain time period.

Maps are going to get gradually harder as osu! continues to keep up with the skilled players but if you can't handle AR9 you can either practice more or just stay on the easier maps/difficulties~
