I would really like to see score v2 come to the stable fallback client now that 3 of 4 mods have a score v2. I would like to see this based on the fact that you now can be excluded from tournaments just because you cannot afford a pc able to run the stable latest version of osu. This will come as demotivating for at least good players aiming for the different worlds cups osu! offers. Now those players can't join the competition just because they don't have the money to buy a new pc able to run on stable (latest). Osu! has a competitive side to it and if the players that aim high can't compete against other players they will probably stop trying to be as good as they can or they will just quit. I know of at least one who is now tired of osu! because they couldn't play on stable (latest).

I see this as one of the most important addition to the game as it literally makes part of the game unplayable for part of the player base, and as peppy himself has said: "osu! is a free-to-win game (as in no microtransactions)" (https://osu.ppy.sh/p/support). Even though its not a microtransaction it is a paywall none the less. A paywall i wish we could remove from this awesome game

Fallback is not supported anymore. No changes will come to that build. Score submission for that build will also likely go away after some time (since it's too outdated and will not update ever again)

The Stable latest/Beta/Ce have a Compatibility mode which will make everything run smoother there, try that!

Only use Fallback if your computer literally cannot run Stabe and above. In addition to that, Fallback is very unsupported, and won't be getting any update soon. You'll want to try Conpatiblity mode in Stable.

So i have to admit this is not a problem known to me personally, my pc is fine. I just have a fellow player owning a mac that cannot play with score v2 because of the lock on release stream. So they cannot change their release, and this release did not contain score v2 at the CWC. If this has been added to the mac release as i will call it then (since stable fallback apparently isn't the release mac's are using) then there is no problem at all.
