Not much do be said here.
Having access to different colored bookmarks has a few insignificant merits.
Some benefits are easier overview for collabs and a structured view of the song and its sections for solo works.

Edit:
It was brought up that it would probably be better to choose the color from a preset palette to avoid confusion with timing sections / preview points.
