Ive been searching everywhere for a tablet and people seem to be saying the Wacom Intuos CTL-480, but I just can't seem to find any in Australia, only the CTL-490, but I don't know about that one because of all the negative reviews on it. Any recommendations?

Its advantage is that you don't have to sit in front of the computer - you can literally sit turned back against your computer screen while having Cintiq in your lap and play like that
