[Archived] Cannot switch to Latest Stable Version!!!

Problem Details:
For months I've been trying to switch Osu! from Fallback to Latest Stable Version. But everytime Osu! done updating, I find it's still the Fallback version. And there was no error during updating.
Anyway to fix this???

Probably your PC doesn't support the latest version. Make sure your graphic card drivers are update.

Also, try holding shift while launching the game and don't let go until you see a recovery dialog. From there, enable Compatibility Mode.
