Is there anyway the graphics of the game could be lowered even more, like the flashing sliders and circles or the fireworks and other lights in the play area? I'm running off of an old Pentium D and ATI 4350 and I can't get stable frames.

Use Compatibility mode?
And disable shaders and such

Edit osu!.user.cfg (where user is the PC user name) using a text editor like notepad then set MyPcSucks to 1.

MyPcSucks = 1

Is that what you're looking for?

IIRC I remember someone saying that this is way outdated and should not be used.
