[Archived] HUION H420 Pen is left clicking even when not touchingtablet

So just a few hours ago, I dropped my pen onto the floor. The pen tip got stuck deep inside so i took it out. However, when I tried using the tablet again, it automatically registers a left click even though it is hovering above the tablet. I just bought this tablet like 3 days ago and I hope to find a solution to this problem. Solutions are very much appreciated! :)

My friends pen has this same problem, Most likely the pen nib jammed something or the button is broken and is stuck being held down. I don't know if you can fix it without taking apart the pen or buying a new one.

For now, Just play with mouse buttons disabled (F10) until you find a fix or new pen.

I use the Huion H420, so hopefully I can help you out.

If its the black pen that comes with the tablet, there's a video showing how to carefully take it apart without damaging it,somewhere on youtube. It's up to you, but what I'd do is take it apart and see if anything is stuck inside the actual pen itself, as in, when you unscrew it, its the part that doesn't contain the batteries. It's your call if you want to do this. As above says, just press F10 to turn off mouse buttons as a temporary solution/fix.

That reminds me,
Because the tablet pen has 2 buttons on the side, you could be clicking one of those, registering it as a mouse click.
