- Common problem in osu!: People who are new,and just started osu,if thay decide too buy support immediately,and they went in osu!direct they will pretty to download map manually.This could also happen to players like me for example who switched there 32bit-64bit and there lost all there programs during the switch of sys.
- Why do I think this is important: Downloading maps manually many people will find frustrateing,and they will look on osu as a bad luck witch is possible too make a players unhappy.Another reason is that automatic update will work much faster of downloading all maps it would be just one click,and not around as many as there are maps posted.Now lets think about that people will post maps and few maps will be ranked right? Have in mind as more maps (ranked) people post there will be more annoing clicks to make.Its worth to mention that people also play pending maps but,and same goes for pending...There is no automatic update,but again not much as playing because some people actually "hate pending" but most of players practice on them,and they mod them.Since i mentioned mod would not be easier if player could just download all maps automaticly since alot of maps are comeing daily and in there "osu song selection" chack what is worth to mod and what is not worth to mod,haveing automaticlly updates witch person decided to work or "continiue to work" (by continue to work i mean if person had a break on pending map and than after 2 month continue to work) personally i think many people would like the update.
- What if person would have specific map witch not to download: Thankfuly we have so named search bar in witch player would be able to find a map they want and click on map with option "do not download this map".
- Players who want/play only 4k (most likely staiain a professian 4k osu!mania player: It would be also nice to have (only for mania) botton so named "Download only" 4k 5k,6k,7k,8k,9k or if there are some really unskilled beginner it would be huge help for him to notice "oh wait i have here all 1k 2k 3k maps i dont need manually search since thay are really rare to find how awesome of developers & peppy allowing it
-What you ask is too much of a post,what should we do,we are confused (In Short)
(1) Requesting update of a automatic "Download all" maps botton.(It will be much easyer for player to download maps raither than manually).
(2) Requesting update of a "Do not download" this map on a manual mode.(Many people who cant pass map hate the map,so they dont play it because of amount of there hate.Example would be Big Black mapped by Blue Dragon or Image Material by Scorpiour).
(3) Requesting update of a "Download only" funciton for people who want only download 4k 5k 6k 7k 8k 9k depending on how may keys they play (People who are fans of 4K and hate 7K or other keys (5k,6k example) they could just click on 4K botton after they clicked Dowload only and they would have automatic download.again eazier).
