I'm modifying some of my existing skins (I'm not good enough to create one myself so I modify and combine pieces I like of various other skins to make my own) and I've noticed that I can't get a background for the osu title screen, when you first launch the game. Even on skins I have and haven't modified that have title backgrounds they don't work. I've gotten pause and fail backgrounds to work but I haven't been able to get a title background. Is there anything I need to do/change the name or file type/create a new file for to get it to work?

You can only change the menu background when you have osu supporter tag. It enables the function of a custom background.
