This was probably asked a lot, but osu! should add a section where users could requests what songs they want added into a list (the songs requested the most will be in top of the list). So then, beatmap creators could choose a song and make a map.
Nooooot the right place to post. Feature Requests is where you should have posted. Basically, this happened, got out of control (lack of people even mapping the maps) and was essientially a waste of time. p/2096637
