[Archived] osu! installer "an error ocurred please check your internet"

Firstly I could play osu! but it wouldn't connect to the servers then I decided to unistall and reinstall it, but now it gives me this error

Well this is probably a problem with your internet. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection and you are connected while osu is updating.

I can assure I am connected to the internet, and I also tried reinstalling it in my friend's wifi but had the same error

And also I had some problems with skype (it wouldn't connect) but it reinstalled fine, so I think there might be some problem with my PC itself

Make sure your firewall allows osu! to connect?
