As much as I love playing osu, it's very disheartening to see how little the developers are about getting it on multiple platforms.
On Mac, it can be very complicated to get osu to run, even by using the download that is available on this website. And if the download on the website works nicely; it only works on Stable (no CuttingEdge or Beta) and the starting menu music and background is behind that of the windows version. Also a number of settings when changed will just reset after closing the game.
I'm sure many forums have highlighted the troubles and pains of trying to access osu! on their own Mac, and it needs to be brought to the attention of the developers. They need to increase work and productivity with osu! on mac by working closely woth Wine to get the best and most updated version of osu! you can get that is available on their website for anyone. I feel it's not fair to have Mac users trying to play with Wine themselves just to get the game to run, even if its wirh crappy FPS rates.
There needs to be more Mac support.
