New keyboard, weird stuff

So I recently bought a CM Storm Devastator kit for 20$ and it seemed new but when I started playing mania I noticed that a hold note + normal notes make some weird input lag (the game hits after i hit on my keyboard) resulting in always late timing on these sections.
Any ideas what it might be or how it can be fixed?

I use to play on my laptops keyboard and after that i bought the devastator, and i can clearly say it's not a good keyboard. everything about it is not good for rhythm games, it's hard to play with the keyboard is too bulky there is no wrist rest and i'm not pleased by it, and also it broke after two months so, it might be a bad investment

In my experience, some cheap membrane keyboards get input lag when you press certain keys at the same time. For example, my old K120 keyboard has a delay of about 0.3 seconds when pressing A and S, but not when pressing E and R.

The problem is just on how membrane keyboards are made. If you're low on cash, get a used PS/2 membrane keyboard off the internet. If you can afford it, just buy a mechanical keyboard. I promise you it's worth it.

Sorry to sound like a downer but I think the obvious solution is to get a better keyboard. You can get pretty decent dome/membrane keyboard for $20.
Like I've never used the devastator, but it looks like they cheaped out on some parts to get everything on budget.

I actually use CM Storm Devastator and I have 0 issues with it but if you're playing in a laptop, you may have input lag (self-experience).
