Basicly it just disables the music from the song. It may be easy when playing easy songs, but when playing hard songs that's next to impossible.

0.06+ score should do it

This is basically like "hard rock" = possible with easy, impossible with hard (normal cases)

This is obviously very hard when using "hidden"

Maybe a platinum S too? I don't know actually what's the criterion for platinum S :)

I searched nosound using search and no hits btw...

MP3 player, or any media player + osu! + 0.06score multiplier = yeaaaahhh!!!!

No hitsounds (or just muting pc volume) also works. If you're decent at sightreading, then it's actually pretty easy to play maps without sound. This warrants NO score multiplier and is just silly since this is a rhythm game. If you want to do it for fun, then use the workaround above or mute your sound.
