[General]
  1. I would welcome to see tags of some people who did the job on the song. Duca is not the only person participating on this. You might add MeisClauson as an arranger, 中山マミ as a lyricist, Angel Note because it is a company where all these people belong. Also you could add Peak A Soul+ because it's a company that "owns" Duca.
  2. I know that people don't like that, but there is higher quality of the mp3 available. Now there are two matters. The mp3 you're using looks like a 192kbps mp3, by file size. But a lot of data is lost even in comparison with the video from Youtube (which was about 116kbps, yet the difference was still big). The posibility is that you converted the audio from video, or you just simply downloaded a not so great one. Now, the mp3 is officially provided on this website and even though it's 128kbps, there's much more actual data than in the previous one and sounds a little bit better for the piano parts and kick drums. Bitrate manipulation doesn't make mp3 rankable, even if you put 192kbps for encoder. You should use the officially provided mp3 to prevent any unneeded loss of data even with a higher file size. For reference, look at these screenshots. All offsets should probably be shifted by -295 if applied.
  3. drum-slidertick should be a little bit louder. The rule is that you cannot silence both sliderslide and slidertick. While you're not doing that directly, usage of such a low volume sample + 45% volume for those timing points makes it quite inaudible and its sound is really negligible. So in reality, it if something is negligible when it comes to audibility, it is silent. There is also a constant spam of hi-hats in the song, so it would also benefit in the map.
[Easy]
  1. 00:37:451 - I would say the Soft clap as you did on 00:33:759 (5) - and other of these snares/claps. It fits much more than just a bassy drum, when it actually reflects the song. I guess this was not intended, from my point of view, it's empty without the clap.
  2. 00:41:143 (5) - Should be soft too, most likely. For the same reason as above.
  3. 00:54:066 (2) - Same as above.
  4. 00:55:913 (4) - Same as above.
  5. 01:00:066 - Maybe I am the only one and this might be very dependent on person, but this kind of rips off my ear. Hearing this the first time, I literally had to close my eyes a little bit by a reflex. Disabling whistle and using Normal additions sounds much more comfortable and softer to me. But as I said, it might depend on the person and their sensitivity, some people maybe don't mind the sharp cymbal sound, so I cannot really deny them to use it. Try the thing I suggested, if it sounds better to you, you should probably use it, if not, then sure, it doesn't matter. But as this is a matter of ear, we might ask more people few people to focus on this hitsound especially and compare which sounds less painful to ear.
  6. 01:01:451 (3) - It seems you completely forgot the soft clap hitsound here. It's quite consistently following the song during the kiai and this one just seems to be missing because of the clap/snare in the music.
  7. 01:14:836 - Same about the finish hitsound as 01:00:066 - if applied previously.
  8. 01:33:297 - I don't hear anything much different in song than in 01:40:682 - . Shouldn't this also have a whistle?
When it comes to patterns and rhythms, I would not complain about anything, there might be some little inconsistencies when it comes to what is clickable and what isn't, but the overall experience is really good and the difficulty is pretty suitable for newbies.
[Normal]
  1. 00:35:605 (4) - Maybe it's intended, I don't know, but did you notice the behavior of this slider? It's not building the circular shape in center, but on left side of it. If it's intended, then sure, keep it, but I didn't notice any other slider looking like a banana, so I suppose it's just a mistake. It's just for aesthetical purpose, not a big deal.
  2. It seems like the hitsounds are copied from other difficulty, so I recommend you to check all hitsounds (even those kiai finishes) mentioned in easy, I will mention others though.
  3. 00:59:605 (4) - I suppose these hitsounds should be swapped, because the snare is on 00:59:605 - , not 00:59:836 - , this one has actually a kick, so the clap makes less sense here.
  4. 01:14:143 (6) - There should be a clap in my opinion, because it's almost the equal sound to 01:28:913 - which does have a clap. Basically it's the same part of the song.
  5. 01:40:220 - As mentioned many times already, the Soft additions would do a better job here as you're doing in most of other places with this snare.
  6. 01:41:836 - This one sounds a bit much to me, it's very recognizable that the sound isn't really occuring in the song. I suggest you to simply remove the clap.
  7. 01:43:451 (1,3) - These two are fine, but the finishes feel too forced for me, they're not in the song and it's basically killing the clap that you use here.
  8. 00:48:528 - The soft clap with whistle again seems to be missing as in previous cases.
  9. 01:10:913 (5,1,2) - Probably the only place where I want to mention the rhythm, but this one doesn't sound intuitive to me because you can hear the prolonged vocal from 01:11:143 - to 01:11:374 - , that means it's a little bit unattached from each other, but what I hear is that these are quite connected, similarly as 01:25:913 (1,2) - .
Good as well, but I would doubt a little about new combos. It is quite weird when the highest combo (I think it was 10) exceeds most combos on Insane, which does have even streams. Instead of using combos after such a long period of time, increase HP by a little, let's say by 0.3-0.5 and then use combos more frequently, so the gain from new combos is compensated by increasing HP instead of having such long combos. It doesn't look like a Normal with such combos.
[Anxient's Hard]
  1. Check the hitsounds as described in above difficulties.
[Assurance]
  1. Obviously, check all the hitsounds mentioned above and for every other hitsound mentioned, check for it in other diffs.
  2. 00:37:460 (6) - Should be a soft for the same reason mentioned on all of this type.
  3. 01:41:374 (3,4) - Might be a personal opinion, but I think the 01:41:605 - without a clap sounds much better.
  4. Now, going through the map many times, I feel the concept of the chosen style is changing the distance according to intensity or actual sounds, it doesn't look coincidentally like this, I guess. However, I'd probably welcome some spacing change on these.
    1. 00:18:759 (4,5) - This looks really excellent to me. You increased spacing on 00:18:297 (2,3,4) - which kind of fits to the intensity and then you put a bigger jump on 00:18:990 (5) - which represents the clap. I think using this really looks perfect in many parts of your map, because while it's emphasizing the intensity, it is also emphasizing these significant sounds even more. I've been missing these on these, whether you choose to do that or not is obviously up to you, but I think that it is filling up the purpose of the style even more:
    2. 00:26:374 (4) - I'd keep the distance between 00:26:374 (4,5) - but I'd increase it between 00:25:913 (3,4) - . It makes a nicer contrast with spacing on 00:25:682 (2,3) -
    3. 00:46:682 (4) - The same as above, something like this could fit.
    4. etc. If you get what I mean and agree, you should be able to know where you'd want to use this.
  5. 00:48:643 (6) - This was mentioned even previously and you stated that it is making the build-up to the kiai. I think it's way too far from kiai to be linked with it in any way and I don't see much intensity change either, so mapping something what's not in song doesn't make that much sense in this case. Just saying because I sort of agree with what someone said here already. Apart from that, if you removed this note, you could basically do the same spacing thing as I recommended to you above.
Cool map in overall. I don't want to force anything, but I think most of the suggestions were kind of in symbiosis with your style. The most welcomed would be those jumps on the snare, you did that many times like the way I recommended, so it would in my opinion really make the style consistent, more polished and more sensible in this regard.

You can obviously call me back. After these few fixes, I think it would be in a very good statement and I don't see any reason why I would have a problem here. mp3 and those sliderticks should be fixed without an exception, like it's still up to you, but very risky since I pointed it out. At least the first one is not much counter-argumentable. Other things are up to you, but I think I was sensible and not really style-breaking here. Good job!

They're negligible to me unless I put the music volume to 70%, then I hear some indication. The idea was not to use the default ticks, but maybe something what would fit to those hi-hats. It should be quite noticable (tick or slide), otherwise the rule doesn't make any sense. Also, it's about the kiai part, which is way too loud for these slider ticks to make noticable sound. Let's see what mapper decides to do though.

I recompressed the mp3 you provided me to adjust the offset to 990. This also cleaned up some irregularities in that mp3 you provided me.


This should be fine and ready to go I believe.

As for hitsounds. I have applied everything you've started to the top diff and copied to the cooresponding diffs. I also tried changing out soft-slidertick, would like some feedback on that.

Forgot tags so I'll update that after this.

Good catch but I modified the mp3 he provided me to keep the offset what it was. The quality loss is very minimal as shown in the box I provided.

Good as well, but I would doubt a little about new combos. It is quite weird when the highest combo (I think it was 10) exceeds most combos on Insane, which does have even streams. Instead of using combos after such a long period of time, increase HP by a little, let's say by 0.3-0.5 and then use combos more frequently, so the gain from new combos is compensated by increasing HP instead of having such long combos. It doesn't look like a Normal with such combos.

  1. Now, going through the map many times, I feel the concept of the chosen style is changing the distance according to intensity or actual sounds, it doesn't look coincidentally like this, I guess. However, I'd probably welcome some spacing change on these.
    1. 00:18:759 (4,5) - This looks really excellent to me. You increased spacing on 00:18:297 (2,3,4) - which kind of fits to the intensity and then you put a bigger jump on 00:18:990 (5) - which represents the clap. I think using this really looks perfect in many parts of your map, because while it's emphasizing the intensity, it is also emphasizing these significant sounds even more. I've been missing these on these, whether you choose to do that or not is obviously up to you, but I think that it is filling up the purpose of the style even more:
    2. 00:26:374 (4) - I'd keep the distance between 00:26:374 (4,5) - but I'd increase it between 00:25:913 (3,4) - . It makes a nicer contrast with spacing on 00:25:682 (2,3) - applied
    3. 00:46:682 (4) - The same as above, something like this could fit. applied
    4. etc. If you get what I mean and agree, you should be able to know where you'd want to use this.
  2. 00:48:643 (6) - This was mentioned even previously and you stated that it is making the build-up to the kiai. I think it's way too far from kiai to be linked with it in any way and I don't see much intensity change either, so mapping something what's not in song doesn't make that much sense in this case. Just saying because I sort of agree with what someone said here already. Apart from that, if you removed this note, you could basically do the same spacing thing as I recommended to you above.applied
Cool map in overall. I don't want to force anything, but I think most of the suggestions were kind of in symbiosis with your style. The most welcomed would be those jumps on the snare, you did that many times like the way I recommended, so it would in my opinion really make the style consistent, more polished and more sensible in this regard.

You can obviously call me back. After these few fixes, I think it would be in a very good statement and I don't see any reason why I would have a problem here. mp3 and those sliderticks should be fixed without an exception, like it's still up to you, but very risky since I pointed it out. At least the first one is not much counter-argumentable. Other things are up to you, but I think I was sensible and not really style-breaking here. Good job!

Rechecked, but you said that you fixed all the hitsounds, but going through the listed ones, many of them are still drum/auto instead of soft, maybe you didn't realize that you use the Drum sample set in inherited point or you maybe saved it incorrectly? Make a quick check on the listed ones again, many stayed unchanged. After that, call me for a heart I guess.

I only found one hitsound (which I swear to god I fixed (Which also happened to be the first one you mentioned on the easy diff :\)) that needed to be changed. If there are any more let me know I guess.

We found out that the missing hitsounds were caused by the timestemps I sent. They were referring to different objects between difficulties. Now, they should be all clean and I don't have anything else to say to the map. Good job here.

Only minor changes made, not involving anything that could break the map, so I guess Oko doesn't need to rebubble. Qualified!
