You barely play this game, you should focus on 1-2* maps to learn how this game works. Playing 4* stream maps will not help you at all, i am serious, it will just make you worse player unable to later on play any kind of maps - it's how muscle memory and bad habits works in this game.

And holy joke mapping. 3 stars there are same like 4* on old map what only top100 can properly play.

Don't bother with steam maps yet, just practice slow triples and streams on hard for the time being.

What 4* maps are only able to be played properly by the top 100?There are few ~4* maps where i saw 3 digit players curse and hate because they wasn't able to play them properly. WWW too good, Doomsday too good, Elysion too good.
Rank is a really poor indicator of skill to play old and hard to read maps.

agreed. but mind the words: "maybe a bit exeggerated", "kinda", "his point". all i wanted to say is that he's right about maps sometimes being a lot harder (or easier) than what their star diff shows. in most cases it's about right but there are always exceptions. i think Odoru Mizushibuki is the best example since it's a current map which is done rather well but even being lower than 5,00* it is only fc'ed by well. technically 2 players. but if you say about 20 i guess i can agree to that (since in most cases fc'ing isn't really meant when saying fc'ing).B1rd wrote:

Only the most autistic people don't call plays with 100s on slider ends FCs. I know there are maps that are disproportionately hard for their star rating, I was just refuting the exaggerated claim.
