Out of all the maps from you that I have, I like the maps of "Forever Young", "The Rock Show", and "The First The Last" (lol guest diffs) as probably a personal top 3 from what I remember.
Style is something that's had it's back scratched too much and too long.
Forget about that useless thing and focus on the way you like to map things. If you preoccupy and put too much concern and emphasis on this "style" thing you're going to be at a loss sooner or later. It will happen. (Actually, that's not a bad thing either)

My favorites off the top of my head would have to be
- La Di Da
- Heaven is a Place on Earth (Nightcore)
- Everytime we Touch (Cash Cash)
In all fairness, ztrot's maps all feel different. They are not what you could lump together as "djpop maps" or "osuplayer maps" where you could probably guess who they were made by (unless they had ztrot clusterfucks/circle-jerks maybe).Faust wrote:

some of my maps were mapped drunk :p
What I can say is that the maps have their own style and ideas which is something I do find as a positive.
I don't really have a "like list" since i'm not really picky about which maps I like, but it was cool to help out with Nogawa Sakura - Now If There is a Smile

Nah, not saying he's a repetitive mapper. (No implying you did either) I'm only a bit afraid people start to have this mentality that they have to nurture some sort of style of their own to fill in some circle shaped hole in their chest that the other square shaped things can't fill but only "style" can.Nekoroll wrote:

Maybe I'm thinking too much (I have a tendency to) But this might be good fodder for discussion. I don't believe picking out a few maps of his will help him much. Maybe letting him know is a good thing, it helps in self-confidence, if anything, I like to lift up my questions, and leave the answers to the providence of something that can give me a wider perspective of things.
As usual, I am worrying over something that I probably have no control over of. Go me.

Yeah I get that too but knowing what is liked and what is not helps me a bit more than you think, I will never stick to one set "style" I'm to lazy for that but, I can avoid things that are disliked and it's nice to know what maps of mine are pegged at the best of the best of "ztrot"

Yes, don't let it define you. Just map away.
If you mapped it, the map will be honest. Don't really need to call it style.
Now that I recall, I think your Approval map of that FLYAWAY song was my favorite. I never played it much, but I can tell it meant something to me if I can remember it. I probably raged a lot at it.
