Vanishing from the Ranking [Denied]

Hello Dear Osu Supporter and Admins, i disappeared from some Beatmaps.

on the two first sites i was first and on the third one i was second ...

I can go on and on and on with this :(

As you can see in my Profil http://osu.ppy.sh/u/374210 i really got these rankings.

Ingame it said i dont have any Personal Records, but when i swtich to my personal records there is the score.

Now my Question, is this only temporary because of Server Maintance or something like that?

ah, ok, thx peppy, sry 4 bothering you.

but now osu! will die, people like me, who suck on hidden/doubletime cant win any beatmaps now, since there will be no flashlight anymore there is no way for us to beat the hidden/doubletime profis ...

wow, that kinda suckz :cry:

well, playing osu! was really great fun. :P

i was only able to beat him because of flashlight, now no one will be able to beat me or him because flashlight is disabled now.

the same with many other beatmaps, you cant surpass doubletime/hidden professionals now.

ok, i dont know how it is with the osu! mode, but you can forget playing CtB now as long as you are not a pro with doubletime and hidden.

but enough whining of me, i screenshot'ed it and uploaded the replays on YT, so atleast I know that I am the real First on these Maps :P :lol:

You partially have a point, but first I'll slag off your statement.

nope.

However, as you do say, it is kind of bad to leave the old flashlight scores there now, since it'll be incredibly unfair and difficult for players to attempt to beat them.

If flashlight was to be killed forever,it would be best to remove all flashlight scores across all maps.

It's not the end of the world if you can't play flashlight mode.

If you really loved flashlight mode, you wouldnt care about scores or beating other people.

Still it would be unfair to erase them for those who actually played a map 9999 times to get a FC with Flashlight and other mods (in some cases). However as far as I've seen most maps (I am not talking about easy/medium/hard ones, just insane) you can always go and add a mod to get over some top scores, I mean not every map has been FC'd with FL, Hidden and HR, of course there are exceptions where the #1 score will stay there forever.

A loss of score is a setback, the inability to beat top scores is a continuing hinderance,
It's a matter of lesser evils really.

However, as has been said all over the place, nothing needs to be done or worried about until a final decision is made on Flashlight.

Something I don't get is that some scores actually got deleted from the ranking (some friends had top scores with Flashlight and they're gone), but still I can see some top scores with Flashlight, only recent ones are removed or what?

Yes I had to rollback a few scores that occurred after ranking was supposed to be disabled.
