[Archived] mouse delays

Often when I play osu my mouse might pause for a sec and cause me to break my combo and/or not go as far as i want it to. its getting really annoying now and i just cant stand it.
I play with a wired usb laser mouse from logitech

Are you playing on DirectX?. You can try on OpenGL.

Maybe you're using a really crappy mousing surface and your mouse isn't picking up the movement like it should be.
