I had this idea about a week ago. See if this is any good or not...

I propose that, between two inherited sections, have a tweening function that allows the volume of a hitsound to go gradually softer or louder between two sections.

This would save people from having to put many more inherited sections to make the hitsound volume become gradually louder or softer.

What do you think?

Holy fuck yes.

This will save the time for both mapper and modder

This is one of those things you wonder why it's not implemented already. It never clicked until you mentioned it, but in Jarby's own words, Holy Fuck, yes.

Why has no one thought of this before? Support.

I'm with rust. considering how many people like doing gradually increasing/decreasing volume, something like this would be a no-brainer.

Something like this was requested a long time ago, actually. Can't remember what happened to it. I don't think it was the same implementation, but it had the same idea.

Still, support from me. This would sync well with moments like this in the music.

Also, I wouldn't mind for there to be easing in and out.

Optional, I guess.

I somehow doubt. And even if you have superman ears, two linear sections ought to do it.
James
i could be wrong but..

you guys are not here when this was being implemented in 2008

IIRC before peppy implemented those inherited stuffs he asked mods (bats now) to whether he uses separate volume for each hitsound every timing section or not...

i guess its our fault! hahahaha

i support thisssssssss

So MetalMario...I still think there are some maps that could benefit from this.

What do you think? Still don't want to do it?
Wylo
Hell yes.

Got my support.
theowest
FUCK YES! But you gotta be able to disable it and able it and such y'know.

This sounds awesome! I used inherited volume adjustments in my latest Taiko and it was a real pain. This would not only make fade out effects sound nicer, but make it easier to make them in general!

Awesome :D! Hole Yeah I agree

Reviving this request, since it's super awesome and doesn't deserve to die unfulfilled.

This bug needs to be fixed first and I don't see it as priority.
