My library is quite extensive and sometimes randomly compiles when I start osu! It then takes 3-5 minutes compiling my songs. I then need to go into my volume control to turn it down while this happens. This small addition would just be a convenience sort of thing for me.
Can't test this right now, but try holding alt while scrolling the wheel.
