This is just a simple and tiny suggestion: Renaming the Osu! bot to the name of the mascot for those respective modes.
For standard, it'd unmistakably be Pippi.
Taiko, Pippidon.
Catch The Beat, Yuzu.

Mania doesn't really have a mascot, so I suppose it would remain unchanged.

Thoughts?

I don't see how it's different then the thread you linked. It even talks about default names, being pippi (and such), which is what this thread is about

That was requesting the names be skinnable, which isn't why my request is about.
