[Multiplayer] Key to disable Videos

Related to t/116609 TheVileOne brought a good idea to add a keybind to disable the video with a key press - which is a pretty smart idea since people rarely are able to disable the video in multiplayer because of performance drops.


I am aware you have an own option to disable all videos but leaving the room just to disable videos because you have for a short time problems is not so comfortable and makes it more individual if you want or want not to have the video behind.

If the issue with having videos running is they cause performance drops, why have them enabled in the first place?

That doesn't always works (can confirm this + others from what I heard) and it's more comfortable to have a own keybind since it somehow takes a bit until you can choose this in the options below (probably because it needs to load all players first, idk)

You obviously disable them permanently if you constantly have problems with background videos but it's a "case-by-case" key whenever you suddenly have these problems while you're at mid-play for example.

Maybe a 'hold' button that allows access to the options mid-play would be better, so people can also change the storyboard and dim options.

Wouldn't mind, that also sounds good. Might changing the thread purpose for this instead.
